Even though the Soul Calibur 2 soundtrack has more music, I like the Soul Calibur 1 soundtrack more |

I prefer the SC2 soundtrack, especially the opening theme. |

Yeah, SC1's was more catchy, you're right. SC2's music was really good as well, there were a few songs that I really liked. |

- I think it was the fact that SC1's BGM was more fast faced (even for some of the slow songs) than SC2's BGM, many of the songs lasted for about a minute and a half (like 'Wings of Faith' and 'Eye to Eye, Blade to Blade'), so they had to pack in all the dynamics and notes in a short time. But SC2 had a better/well-orchestrated collection of songs (sounds more like a symphony) since there songs lasted for about 2 - 3 minutes (such as 'Maze of the Blade' and 'Unwavering Resolve') =P |

SC1 had much better music than SC2. Not that SC2 doesn't have any great music. I think the reason I like SC1 music more is probably because it seemed to have more... how shall I say this.... power. The music was indead catchy, like Bt47 said. But it also seemed to have a certain quality that I can't quite put My finger on. It was the type of music You could dance to (and I often did ^^). I can't realy find a better way to describe it. It just had more power and was very, very catchy. My personal fav's are "Feather in the Wind: Reprise", "Feather in the Wind" and "Eye-to-Eye Blade-to-Blade". To this day, I still hum those tune's.... ^^ ~M_D~
