Atsushi Inaba Heads New Capcom Studio
By David Smith
3/30/2004

Subsequent to last week's news of downsizing in its development ranks, Capcom today announced the formation of a new subsidiary studio. Clover Studio, as it's called -- an unusual name, given that most of Capcom's internal studios are simply numbered -- will be headed by Atsushi Inaba, formerly of Capcom's Production Studio 4.
Inaba's last project as a producer at Production Studio 4 was Steel Battalion for Xbox. He'll now take over as representative director president of Clover Studio, leading a board of directors that also includes Capcom CEO Kenzo Tsujimoto and several technical and artistic staff from recent Resident Evil and Devil May Cry projects.

Clover Studio is a wholly owned subsidiary of Capcom, headquartered close to Capcom's main offices in Osaka, Japan, and it will be setting into its first projects with some 64 staff. We'll have more details on its efforts as Capcom releases them.
