((Heh. RP time finally...)) Beep... A hand went up and slapped the alarm clock. Beep... "It's not the clock. it's your digivice!" Aurora's eyes snapped open as she jumped up from her bed. "Digimon. Let's hit it, Chocomon." The brownish slime digimon nodded as it jumped into the girl's backpack. Aurora quickly grabbed her jacket and jeans and got dressed on the way out. She zipped the backpack and swung it over her shoulders. She ran through the living room because it's the quickest way out. Her parents were already awake with a solemn look on their face. "Don't make too much noise, Aurora. Your sister is still sleeping." Mrs. Isher said. "And I have very sad news..." Her dad added and paused. "Not now. I have to go. Will be back for breakfast." She mumbled as she ran out of the house. The doored closed quietly as she took out her digivice to track down the target. A soft flash of light passed over her backpack as the creature inside altered its form. They arrived at a small pond, not so far away from her house. "There." Aurora stopped. There seemed to be no one else because it was rather early. The morning mist haven't lifted yet. An amphibian digimon was found floating leisurely on the water's surface. "Betamon." Aurora said simply, without consulting her digivice. But little did she know there are other benefits to checking up an opponent than just knowing their attacks... Her backpack unzipped itself as a rabbit-dog digimon flew out. "It's all yours, Lopmon." "Petite Twister!" Lopmon spined on the top of the water, coming straight at Betamon. The wather digimon made no attempts to fight back or dodge the attack. As a result, it took the full blow. It landed with a thud on the ground, where it is more vulnerable. ((I know that the battle system isn't perfected yet, but that's okay. This battle is supposed to be rigged anyway... Not without a reason, I should add. It'll follow something of a plot...)) |

((That's fine. The battle system is really for player vs. player. There's no need to use it with wild Digimon unless someone else is playing them.)) |

"Looks like this isn't going to be a problem." Split sighed with relief. He is hidden in a corner, watching Aurora and Lopmon fighting. "I don't get it. Why does she get a digimon and I don't?" He sighed again, this time with frustration and jealousy. Split scowled. "I'll get my own digimon. You'll see one day." He then left. (Split goes to Chinatown.) ---------------- "Biyomon activate!" Aurora shouted as she slashed down that digimon card. "Spiral Twister!" Lopmon flew up and used Biyomon's attack. Betamon blinked as the attack hit him hard. It dissolved into a million data pieces. "Alright." Lopmon glided on to the girl's head quietly. Suddenly, Aurora's digivice beeped... again. "Digimon." They said simultaneously. Aurora started running... |
