This is an issue that most forums have trouble with.

First of all, this message board is brand new, and internet popularity is hard to acheive for newcomers. I am doing everything I can to get the message out there, but I need your help too. Tell your friends, put a link in your signature, post it on your myspace, call CNN and tell them to run a story about it - anything!

Also, starting out a forum is harder than maintaining a website, because we not only need hits, but we need to translate the hits into members. Only a small fraction of the hits we get is tranlated into members, because the message board is not as appealing to viewers when it is first starting out - and that's why I need your help even more to create a friendly environment for newcomers.

In related news, if you look at the top of the page you will notice a list of links.

They are provided by txtswap.com, and their purpose is to generate hits. If I put these links on my website, my link will be put on other people's websites. BUT, for every 3 (unique) hits each link gets from this site, my link will be put on more websites. So, if nobody clicks on the links, I won't get as much traffic.

I just got up after my second night of having 3 hours of sleep, so my brain is probably functioning at the level of a dying alchoholic right now. I hope I did not make myself look like an idiot.
