Hi all, just noticed I've been a right plonker.Aerial has been up for a week now n works really well BUT just noticed I've left the brown cardboard over the tuning rings and wondered if it really matters as the rain should eventually get rid?? Just wondered if I should take it all down to get this off or will it be ok ?? Thanks,Andy

Thank you for putting a Smile on my face ths morning!. . . . I can just picture you looking up at the aerial yesterday and saying, "What the? . . :doh2: . . huh? . . . . Oh Nooooooo! "As Colin has said, the wrapper shouldn't cause any issue at all. As long as your VSWR is OK, then leave the cardboard until it bio-degrades in the weather. If you get anything like the wind and rain I do here, it'll probably be gone by Easter!

Don't worry. The addition of some soggy cardboard to the base of the A99 will have no detrimental effect - a bit like these then:
