Hi all, Whilst helping a mate clear his garage the other day, I came upon a CTE 767 linear. I have found out that they will accept a 10w input but should I run it at that? The 3900 puts out 10w on AM / FM and 20w PEP SSB. Is this safe to run like it? If not, does anyone have a diagram of where the pots are that I would need to wind back a touch in the 3900? Any help would be appreciated Chris 'the class idiot'

I run a RM KLV200V amp and a SS3900 running 10w AM/FM 20w SSB all I do is back off the mike gain to about 9 o'clock position when on SSB thats when I'm using my 575-m6 Astatic Teardrop so in that setting it also stops the RF feed back and if I use the standard mike mike gain about 3 o'clock position try that see what happens b4 you start messing with the inside of the radio
