Super star 360FM serial NO1300XXXXX August 2011 This is a super star that is made with UK40 Observations at the start Radio will not power up the protection diode as gone short circuit burning out the chokes on the power socket. The radio as bean fitted with variable power and switchable bleep on the back. The wiring in side the radio looks untidy. The jumper PCB is missing Work carried out Replace protection diode (fit new IN5408 across the power socket)and chokes at power socket. Radio powers up the channel selector digits are flicking when changing channel The channel changer as been stripped cleaned regressed and and rebuilt The controls appear to be scrachey and have been cleaned The wire to controls and UK 40 modification have been rewired and reloomed Transistor TR51 as been Replaced with more beefier type From 2SA1012 to 2SB754 Fit super bright white LED in the meter. Supply new jumper PCB that was missing The switches and modifications on the back of radio have been removed and the holes have been filled in . The alpha channels have been fitted on the Channel 9 switch The alpha channels should be on 3,7,11,15,19.These channels do not apply on the UK40 The NB/ANL switch is the roger bleep up for on down off UK40 switch is on the tone high for Uk 40 low for L,M,H bands Diode modification IN4148 to the main board to stop R295 150ohms getting hot on SSB The microphone socket as been wired standard The radio needed cleaning up and realignment Radio all on frequency and new case screws. Looks good Sam is that a gold fronted one ? seen the Cobras with gold front but never a SS 360 must be rare |

They wasn't gold there silver but the sunlight reacts with them turning it gold if you pull the switches off you can see silver ! |

I know Sam,seen a few in need of repair cheap but im not stupid enough to buy a played with one. A nice stock one with box,not asking to much am i lol!!! |
