Charlie Tango DX is a group dedicated to Hobby Radio Users in all forms, whether CB, Amateur, PMR446, Scanning and Short Wave Listening.
We are a very active and friendly group that welcomes anyone from anywhere in the world who has an interest in Radio, regardless of their level of experience, their equipment, their location, or their radio preference. We have members varying from fully qualified operators on the Amateur Bands, to newcomers who have just bought a PMR446 set, and many CBers both old and new. All are equal on the Site.

The CT Site contains many reviews, tips and modifications within the forums, and we take pride that no sensible question is ever left unanswered, and nobody is ever belittled or mocked for asking an honest question, no matter how simple it may seem. We were all new to the hobby once.

The Five Letter Game….[/marq] OK, this is pretty simple, but it exercises the brain… and it is harder of you try for a Radio-related answer. I put five letters in my post Y S B R T The Next Poster makes a sentence with those Five Letters, then posts his (or her) own fiveletters, created from the LAST LETTERS of their answer: Yaesu Sell Black Radio Transceivers U L K O S for the next player Then the NEXT Poster, does the same: Useless Learner Killed Off Signal S R D F L Then: Skip Reached Distant Far Lands P D T R S The only rule is that it must read like a sentence, not just random words. "Sloth Raisin Dribble Farm Lettuce" won't do, but "She Really Did Feel Lost" is OK. But it is BETTER if you can create something radio-related (even vaguely): “Skip Reached Distant Far Lands” Here's the First post. HAVE FUN: S P E B T NOTE: When we started the game - the NEXT five letters were simply random, made up by the last player. That's why the first page or two don't comply with the above.
