You control a bat which you move side to side. You must knock a ball towards the falling blocks, you get points for breaking, Blue block will award you 10 points, Red 20 points and Yellow 30 points. Hitting a Green block will give you a random powerup.![]() Direct download The scenic route Please tell me what you think of this game. Thanks. |

Nice game. Pretty fun and custom music is always a nice touch. Also like being able to control stuff like if it is fulscreen or not and if i want to use the mouse or not. One thing i dident like is that the ball only bounced strait up and down unless you hit the very edge. |

I'd have to agree with fsd... Also, its like a breakout remix. How does the bouncing work in your game? If you are using the action libraries, then check if you have bounce on precise or not. That can make a difference. |

Most of the game was coded but I skimped out when it came to the actual collisions of the ball. I gave myself two choices, the result of which I stand by: I could either work hard and code a system that used proper collisions or use the built in library action. It is the most complained about problem with the game, nobody seems to want to comment on the broken music system or the fact that the blocks overlap. I no longer provide support for this game as i'm working on a sequel that needs alot of work. Though If anybody is willing to take it over and provide further updates for it, I am more than happy as long as the appropriate credit is still given. Once I have a working demo of the sequel I will post it here to get some feedback and further ideas. Thank you to everyone that has commented so far. |

I have actually been looking for something to work on. So many times that people have taken over the work of my own projects, most I never just go to finishing. I'm a bit too busy to make a complete project in a reasonable time frame. But polishing a project would be good. The game doesnt have any issues really from my view except the bouncing. Although you always could add more to any game. |
