Ok today we will install the program

you can use what ever program you like that compiles c++ but i will show you how to install dev c++

first download it
http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html
the newest version is
Dev-C++ 5 (currently beta)
but i would not go for the beta and i would install
Dev-C++ 4 (scroll down a little)

After downloading

  1. unzip the zip file
  2. open the installer (setup.exe)
  3. agree to the terms
  4. choose the directory
  5. checkmark read the readme (if you want to dead it) and checkmark lanch program
  6. now you can delete the installer
  7. x out of the folder (if it pops up)

  1. you are
  2. when the program runs the first time it wants you to configure it
  3. it may get an error if you are not in an adminrator account so make shure
  4. then configure it how you want
  5. now the programs opens
Fixed list tag, and changred title to match new standerds.
