So on Friday, July 27, 2012. On that day; I was doing my mom a favor by returning a rental DVD to one of the Redbox machines at a Wal-Mart (while also getting some free time shopping and to go look at the newest video game & Lego set releases. My usual thing at any retailer store.) As I was about to dash off; I notice something familiar in one of the claw arcade machines next to the Redbox machines. So...I took a closer look and saw an Invincibility Robot set surrounded by other prizes (mostly with other counterfeit toys/electronic products). I thought it was weird to see one in Texas and also instead of the familiar (fake) canisters....this fake Pohatu Nuva set is in a Yu-Gi-Oh! deck-like size box .   I did not want to waste any money on the claw machine because it is a counterfeit (as I already own the REAL Pohatu Nuva set) so I quickly took pictures of the front and back cover of the box. Also noticeable is that on the back cover is the image of Metru Nui with all six counterfeit Toa Nuva and a picture of Akamai Nuva. Although it is true that the Toa Nuva return to Metru Nui, but it was only for a few moments before they were send off to a mission and........well.....we know what happen next.... Anyways back to the topic; you can also notice that the back cover has been a bit or all the way torn off (probably due to wrapping the prize tape thing around and inside the box instead of outside the box). and also I do not see the BELA logo anywhere on the box unless.......the logo is on the bottom of the box....... Today, I try typing the counterfeit products codes to see if this is the same thing as the fake Pohatu Nuva in a canister found in other countries.....they do not match (guessing to maybe avoid problems with Lego Company or something). I don't know if there is more of these counterfeits popping up somewhere/elsewhere, but I am going to keep a lookout for them. Update Monday, July 30, 2012 Went back to Wal-Mart and saw that it is a BELA product. I would but I didnt want to waste my cash on this machine as we all know that claw machines has tricks and....I misplace my debt card today (my only source of cash from my paychecks T_T) so......yeah...... |

I know it's bootleged, but I'd still like because the only sets I got from 2001-2004 are Onua and a Levahk, and I those a few weeks ago from ebay. |
