Within a week we will hopefully have a confirmation of the date atleast. Right now we are looking at the 27-29th of March, but we need to confirm the location. As earlier years WaarCon will be held at HiST. (Høgskolen i Sør-Trøndelag) So far we are looking at arranging both the Fantasy Battles and the 40.000 tournament at the same time. This would leave us with total of 8 battles at saturday and a total of 8 battles at sunday. (4 of each games type each day running simultaniously) As per tradition the army size used in the Fantasy tournament will be 2250p The rules package for Fantasy Battles is mostly done, with the exception of possible scenarioes. We will most likely get it done during the coming weekend. The size of the armies used in 40.000 is yet to be decided, but will most likely be 1750p og 1850p. The rules package for 40.000 is a bit further away from finished, but I cross my fingers for having it completed with the coming week. Concidering missions, I suppose they will be rolled for for each instance unless we get a really creative soul on the job. This is mostly what I can tell at this time. More Information will come later. |

Ok, the time schedule is done for the weekend. I'll know by monday if we get the location the weekend we want. Finished rulespackage will be released as PDF either on monday or tuesday, depending upon how much I have to do at school. It will be possible to attend both tournaments as they will run after eachother, starting with fantasy on friday/saturday and 40.000 on saturday/sunday. This won't leave us with too much of an opportunity for a social happening other than gaming. However, there is time to order take out, or such, on both friday and saturday. This is nothing that will be officially arranged, but a suggestion if people want to have som "proper" food og just hang together. |

Location confirmed! We will be located at Gunnerusgate 1, at one of HiST's locations. Rules package is done for Fantasy Battles, and the time schedule is also done. We just need to get the last fix-up on the 40.000 part of the rulespackage. I've taken time to make a better road description for those that aren't from around here. Map:  - Starting point is Trondheim Torg. Picture is taking facing in the direction of the green arrow. - Yellow dot is a "Bunnpris" shop, which by the way is open on Sundays aswell  (I used less that a minute jogging there from our location ;)) - Blue dot is a building with some, quite large, blue banners, which should be easy to see. - Red pin/dot is our location. When you enter the "parking lot" where the last red arrow points, just look around and you should see this, which is the correct door. We'll put up a poster or such, and a phone number you can call to get in. - Earlier years the red arrow is the routh that has been recommended, but it might be just as easy to find the right way if you follow the blue arrow instead. |
