Genre: Psychological/Suspense Creator: Unknown Publisher: Unknown Plot: 20/25 The plot is pretty interesting. It's about a guy (named Yashiro Tenshuu) who murdered his girlfriend and others who is sent to death penalty. However, he gets let off the hook if he does one thing. He has to participate in a secret test. He gets locked in a room with no track of time. He's not alone though. Another death penalty survivor is let off the loose. There they meet a girl who claims to have magic powers. A strange disease called "The Black" is taking over her body and giving her these powers. She has to transfer it to the survivors. The story gets pretty intense. It really sucks you in. The story is pretty good with the exception of its short length. The character depth also needs some work. Artwork: 15/25 Nothing exceptional. Some of the art gets a little jumbly and a little too dark. It's certainly not bad though. I've seen way better art. It's not like its Shin Chan. Originality: 16/20 Pretty original. The characters seem kind of unoriginal. The good man who made a bad decision, the badass, and the mystery girl. Heard it all before. I guess I'll make an exception for the badass because he's from jail and all. Length: 7/20 10 chapters. Firrilz? I guess 10 chapters is barely enough to sum the story up, but if it were longer we could know much more about the characters, the origins of the black, etc, etc. A lot of questions are unanswered at the end. I've read shorter, but seriously. 10 chapters is not enough. Overall Feel and Conclusion: 8/10 It's dark, it's gritty, and it's pretty cool. I wanted more questions answered at the end, but I was satisfied. TOTAL: 66/100 Don't let this low score drag you down. It's a great manga. It just has a few flaws. Recommended For: Thinkers. Not Recommended For: The faint of heart/People looking for a manga to last them a while.
