Posts: 116 Group: Retired Staff Member #120 Joined: June 5, 2008 Favorite Anime Gantz Favorite Genre Psychological/Romatic Comedy	Anime: Midori Days Genre: Romantic Comedy Creator: Tsuneo Kobayashi Company: Pierrot Plot: 23/25 Well the plot is the most original and bizarre plot in any anime. A 17 year old delinquent named Seiji has had no girlfriend for 17 years, he wants one more than anything. One day he has a daydream about having a girlfriend and discovers a girl, get ready for this, on his hand! Her name is Midori Kasugano. He is often annoyed by her and continues seeking a girlfriend. Slowly through the episodes the romance unfolds. It is well paced and you can see how Seiji changes his personality from a mean criminal, to a caring and sensitive person. That may sound corny but the romance is not the only thing that makes the plot good. There is plent of well written comedy thrown in that just makes this show bitter sweet. Artwork: 10/15 The artwork of the characters isn't as good as other anime out there. Seiji looks very flat as well as other characters. Many characters seem like something you've seen before. However, the artwork isn't terrible. Originality: 24/25 Minus 1 for the genre. Plus 24 for the fact that he has a girl on his hand... and they fall in love. That's completely crazy! Each character also has their own very original personality. Seiji is a bad-to-the-bone high school student who becomes sensitive, Midori is a very obsessive younger girl, you get the idea. The show is very original, possibly too original for some, but still original. Length: 9/10 It's a tiny bit short, but no complaints because it plays out well. 13 seems like a perfect length for this, and if it were to get any longer, they would most likely run out of original ideas. First Impression and Conclusion: 7/10 When you first seen it, its questionable. You can't decide if it's a bit too strange, or totally awesome. You'll most likely choose the second option but some may be scared off by the bizzare plot. Overall Feel: 14/15 It feels good. It's a romantic comedy anime with some strange twist thrown in and I'm fine with that. After watching a few episodes, I got hooked even though it's a tad out there. TOTAL:87/100

Age 18	hehe, I like Midori Days, if only the anime wasn't SOOOO SHORT! the Manga is quite a bit longer.
