Toni Collette (who's an amazing, very underrated actress)

I agree, she is fantastic. Have you seen Japanese Story? - Great movie.

YES! I love that. Great film! Sad and good. And IMO, she's like 'the accent master'. She can do any accent. In Japanese Story, it was interesting for me to hear more how she really talks. In Sixth Sense, she did the whole South Philly thing perfectly. And between that and The Hours, I used to think she was American. Then I saw Emma and About A Boy, and I thought she must be British. I was shocked to learn she was an Aussie. (But a good shocked.) She's the best. I'll see anything w/ her.

ya I saw that preview also before Mr & Mrs. It didn't look too bad.
And ye I admire Cameron as well. I loved The Sweetest Thing,
also I like Christina Applegate ( married..w/ children, love that show)
She got nominated for a Tony for he lead role in "Sweet Charity".
But I also saw the preview for Dukes or Hazzard, which I wanna see real bad!

At quick glance plus freeze-frame, I was not impressed with the quality of the effects for KK in that trailer.

Like every single frame of all the films where they show the battles from high above?

YEAH! well, plus, a whole slew of characters and pretty much EVERY background are all OBVIOUS CG, and not even that good of CG. They need to call Pixar next time or something.

I think the best CGI ever was from 7 years ago....Starship Troopers. Absolutely flawless CGI with those bugs.

Those damn bugs look photo-real!! bad story and terrible acting though. The people seemed less real than the bugs.

I wonder what they used. Maybe some of it was photos of real things like bugs and stuff scanned into a computer and then distorted, moved around and added to.. to make it look more real.

OMG. I thought you were going to say that it was one of your all-time favourite movies or something. LOL. Yeah, I remember sitting there in the theatre thinking, "Who the hell is the target audience they're goin' for here?"
