The Devil Wears Prada really did well at the box office this week. No surprise for me, the trailer was excellent.

Yes I quite liked Saw, it's not normally the kind of thing that interests me, but I found it quite clever. I haven't seen Saw 2 yet, would you recommend it AG?

i would defo recommend it. It ties in a little with saw 1. So watch that first anyone interested (i know you have luce) But yeah, its more gore and a lot more tension than last time as its not set in one room. Although it is set in one house for most of the film. Still very interesting.

A gore film that i was disappointed with was Hostel. It was just not as much gore as it was made out to be, that plot was fantastic, but...you know..

Two of the girls I work with were saying that Hostel was just crap. I am not a fan of gore for the sake of gore, especially if it's all there for the shock value and publicity. Tends to be a heap of shite.

haha. I kinda agree. They are made for the sake of shock and publicity, and films dedicated to gore tend to be predictable and shit. But if done correctly they are amazing: i.e the kill bill house of blue leaves scene. This one scene ran Japans fake blood supply dry, and it done it with style and perfection. It was just amazing.

<3 kill bill :D

Yes, I love Kill Bill because it wasn't simply gore for the sake of gore. It had style and a real story, not to mention some fantastic acting by MA and the rest of the actors.

Yeah!! definetly! she was just perfect for the part. Shes tall, sexy, configurative, and not to mention - she looks fearless in the movie. She is so strong in the movie. Its inspirational to anyone. Just like the cancer patient on Opra. Remember?

And i must admit, her character Bea, is one of my most idolised characters. I just love her strength in the movie, her will power, he intelligence, and it makes me say to myself; i want to be as stronge, powerfull, interligent like her. It makes me motivated to think of her strength in her vendetta.
