this HP thread has been so fun to read
i love the books, i think rowling has done an awesome job. and even though the films are't that great, they still are fun too watch. the EW and DR pictures are the cutest. imho, it would be the coolest thing if they hooked up. and in the books i'd prefere a harry-hermione relationship. oh, right, i just remebered a very fun site. i think it's absolutely hilarious! read it! jerry the frog productions page those are just the funniest parodies ever. and not in a bad way. |

OMG! I love you so much! I SOOOOOO agree! p.s. - Dan and Emma do like each other, but I think Emma is actually way more stuck on him than he is on her. Let's hope he wakes up and notices what's happening. LOL. |

i guess you're right. DR could be a litte more committed to the HP films. and EW also. wouldn't it be sweet like when 10 or 15 years later they get married and say that they met on the set of HP and that's where their deep relationship bgan from.. going maybe a little too far with my fantasies  |

what do you think happened to sirius? i konw it might sound a little naive, but i don't think he's dead. i just won't accept that!! cuz no one knows for sure in the book, so i'm hoping that sirius will suprise them all when he returns in the 6th or 7th book. |

Lots of people don't think he's dead. There's a whole "Sirius Lives" following now at all the HP forums and sites. I don't know what to think. I do think it's more possible that he could come back later on, along w/ anyone else who's behind that veil. Dude, the Department of Mysteries is fuckin' creepy. The whispering. The darkness. The orbs. That weird statue. And all those doors. ....creepy. |

Jean-Pierre Jeunet mulls directing 'Order of the Phoenix' from HPANA news It would seem that the hunt for a director for the next Harry Potter movie is underway even though they haven't finished filming Goblet of Fire. Earlier last week Ain't it Cool News reported that French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet had been approached by Warner Bros. to direct Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Jeunet most recently directed City of Lost Children, Alien: Resurrection, and Amélie Jeunet now confirms through Variety that he has been talking to Warner Bros. about the film but is still undecided about taking on the role: The helmer also is mulling what film project to tackle next. Warners has been sounding him out about the next Harry Potter pic, Jeunet said, but it is hard to think clearly with A Very Long Engagement still in his system. "Making a film is like a love affair," said the helmer. "I'm not capable of moving straight on from one to the next." This follows news that Mira Nair had also been approached to direct the film. [NOTE: If this actually happened and he was the director, I'd be the happiest person in the world. I love Amelie.] |

Amelie is one of my favorite foreign films ever. I'd be happy either way, though: Mira Nair did an excellent job with Hysterical Blindness. |

Yeah, so would I. But I don't think that's the end of it. They could consider others besides those 2. I'm interested to see what happens. |

Gary Oldman MADE the third Potter film for me. To kill him off would be on par with Lucas killing off Bob Fett in Empire Strikes Back....a big mistake. |

Yes, but you DO understand that he WILL die in the fifth movie. Regardless of whatever (we don't know what) the outcome will be for Sirius in books 6 and 7, as it stands right now in book 5, he's dead. He might be a ghost or something, but he did die. The only hope for him to return is knowing that anything can happen in the wizarding world. From the June, 2003 Dateline interview: Katie Couric: "So, I understand that there will be a death in this book and apparently, just the first one." JK: "Yes, [jokingly] the bloodshed has only begun. [smiles, then becomes more serious] It's a war. And, like all wars, there's going to be casualties." |

This is from Emma Watson.net. A letter that Emma Watson has been sending out to fans that write to her, giving an update as to what she's been up to and some of her likes / dislikes:![]() hmmmm.... interesting. Aside from family members, the only person she mentioned is Dan. Interesting. |
