OMG! That's great! Haha! I loved how they had Snape in the dress and vulture hat.

Hmmm. Not bad for 10,000. Of course, 10,000 pounds is equal to $14,000. Still, not bad.

Actually, right now, since the US dollar is worth .51 GBpounds, it's about $19,500. But still a good deal IMO for a new PT cruiser w/ all the extras and custom detailing.

Only problem: You'd have to move to Europe in order to use it. Not that it's a problem per say (hell, I'd jump at the chance to live in Europe), but it wouldn't be prudent to move to a completely different continent and start completely over for a car.

But see, I'm moving to London next year, anyway, probably.
So, I would just have to keep it somewhere for a year is all.

Well, hopefully. I want to get a government job of some kind, which would allow me to live and work over there for as long as I wanted, without the hassles of getting a UK work permit (which is very hard for an American to do, and, since I'd be working for the US gvmt., I wouldn't need one) or fussing w/ extending my resident visa (the US takes care of that for you if you work for them).

I just want to live in London for a couple years, just to do it. And then, I'll probably end up settling in the Burbank area when I come back, so I can be close to my aunt and the things I most love in L.A.

Anyway,... If things go well. Plans can always change. But I have a goal.

me too, i'm thinking of london. that is living there. working. as an au pair perhaps. i don't really know if the job is ok, but i really want to do it. go somewhere else. do something different. not live the average - high school-collage-job type of life. do something. now. that i won't regret not-doing later.

so i like your plan, KD. it's so much simpler for us in the EU now. to go to another european country.

hope you can do what you want to! :rock2 :cheers

Yeah. Me too. The money part, I mean.
I wish I could just afford to buy an old used car and pay someone to paint it like that.
