Once all the shiny goodness has worn from that game, then maybe i'll be a bit more excited. But tbh, I kind of stopped paying attention & lost interest as soon as they said the BR was to return. I guess 343 listened to the cry-babies & caved! lol TBH.. it kind of left me a bit under-whelmed... Oh... I also thought the new armour looked a bit poncey as well lol... |

Im in the same boat as you Biffles! I can't look past Mass Effect at the end of the week - it seems like more Halo which is no bad thing but there is nothing so far to get me really excited. Just seems they are milking the franchise much like COD...... |

lol I totally agree Dan, it do's look good But you have to remember... as far as at least Waxy & I are concerned, the Rose coloured glasses for ME3 are very much in place at the moment. So we're pretty blind to anything else that's going on in the gaming world. Having said that though... I am sticking to my guns about the BR comment. I hope they might give us the option to set it to single shot though, if we like. At least that way, it'd emulate the DMR

Yeah, I didn't know about the BR's return. Presumably though this is set after Halo3 so BR is canon. |

Nice post, Mr. Scruff, thanks for letting us know Stepping a away from the campaign, there were some interesting snippets there about the MP... it do's sound like they've tried to introduce various aspects of CoD without being too obvious about it. If this helps gameplay, then i'm all for it. I was also happy to see that there is the option of the DMR in the weapons loadout, as well as the BR No FireFight though... at least, it isn't confirmed

No Firefight and no Elites are going to piss some people off, and I'm a little shocked at the lack of FF (although, it's not confirmed), but the co-op episodic FREE content sounds good and the subtle nods to CoD could make it great. If they do the custom loadout thing I'd be quite happy, especially as they've confirmed that weapons will still be spawning on the map. |
