During battle, Tala calls out "Novae Rog," and I've come to find out that this means, " The New Question." What is your opinion as to why Tala chooses to say this? |

I've taken Latin for 4 years, and so I recognized that it was Latin. Then I went to check with my teacher, and he told me what it meant. |

To judge the cover by its book.

Hm, that is rather odd. The attack might have been a dub add in, and the dubbers left it in because it sounds pretty. =D |

? @ Gladwyn It was Novae Rog in the Jpn version as well. Actually before the dub (or before we knew better, you decide) we called it Novae Rogue but I don't think that affects things too much. What other language may use the word and how would you get Norway Rock out of it, then? You have to admit it sounds infinitely more probable than 'The New Question'.

I suppose it does sound wierd, but no one knows for sure why a blader choses to say what he says during his battles. |

Hm, well, since I only saw a few subbed episodes, I didn't know that. Hm... I do wonder why that could be. Whenever you say something, you'd usually have meaning to it... |

What really surprises me was that Tala had an attack involving a female (possibly an ice goddess) which explains the Rog(ue) part of it

'The New Question'? ...Pretty strange...but...it could catch on to something. I mean, when that Ice Goddess (I like to believe it's an Ice Goddess...) suddenly appears, you don't know if it's something beautiful or dangerous, without knowing. Then suddenly, Wolborg lashes out and attacks... It...could have something to do with that, but who knows? Maybe the dubbers just couldn't think of anything 'cool' enough?
Now, I like that theory of the attack, 'Nova' and Rogue'. The dubbers, or whatever, might have just spiced the words up a little, to make it sound more..likable. I dunno, to be honest. But that's just what I think... |

Erm...Novae Rog is a town in Russia. It means "New Horn" or something. I asked my mom, and she would know, she's Russian. |

Hmmm... New Horn.... Can't see a resemblance other then the attack being new better ask my friend (who is russian as well) about this.Hey... What about "Galaxy Storm"? I heard the japanese Version called it "CorkScrew" attack <_< or something rather... but I kinda like the name ...This thread should explain some other type of techniques Twin Saber from Rapid Eagle looks nice when Claud fought against Ray in a bit Beast attack Battle (Gatling Claw agaist Twin Saber ). Too bad Claud Lost even if it was an act .
