I was just watching an AMV with clips from G-Rev when I noticed Tala's clothes. Quite nice looking If you ask me...but that's beside the point. I noticed the 'B' symbol on his upper right chest, and I thought 'hmm, that looks familiar...' So I went back to some season one pictures I have and lo and behold, it's the same symbol! The same Biovolt symbol.

I haven't seen all of G-Rev yet, but I do know enough about it to know that Tala is not part of Biovolt anymore. In fact he's joined the BBA. So what's with the Biovolt symbol? Is it just a simple mistake made by the animators? I'd like to hear your thoughts...

I haven't seen G-Rev yet, but it seems to me -although Fanfiction writers tend to make Tala and the rest of the Demolition Boys despise being at the Abbey- I'm pretty sure that they do take pride in being one of the Biovolt team.

So it just shows that no matter what, Tala and the rest still believe that they are still Biovolt bladers. Probably why they were ticked off to find that Balkov was now leading BEGA and find it as an insult to them and their belief.

... or something like that.

That is also my opinion. Completely.

Balkov trained them so hard at the abbey; probably gave them punishes when they did something wrong. They left the abbey very strong. It's probably a honor for them.
... They lost the trainer, but not their title and honor.

... Other thing I thought of, was that they could use the 'B' symbol to represent Blitzkreig Boys.

To judge the cover by its book.

Since 'Blitzkreig Boys' is the dub name, perhaps should the correct term be 'Neo Borg'.

... Otherwise, the 'B' symbol is only in the dubbed anime. I don't know; never seen Yuriy in action in the original.

Yes. They called themselves 'Former Biovolt soldiers' when they stormed into the BEGA HQ.

Boris in season one went on exile before the Demolition boys were properly 'discharged' from the abbey.

After BIOVOLT fell, Yuriy and his team-mates would have felt used and cheated.

...Even more so when Balkov formed a new team 2 years later or whatever. Just rubs salt into the wound, so to speak, the idea that 'they aren't good enough'.

Just as a quick side-note, Spencer also has a 'B' symbol (on his sleeve). But I haven't noticed one on Bryan...I guess he wanted to be different? :sweatdrop:

The B stands for Borg in the original version, which was the original name of both Biovolt and Yuriy's team. Since they kept the Borg part of the team name in the 3rd season, it's not really that weird for them to have kept the symbol IMO ^_^
