I watched this last night. oO;

I believe it was set in the 40s though. Did it not occur 30 years after the doctor went missing? And I think he went missing in 1918, so it would technically be 1948. I'm sorry, I'm all about the technicalities. =D

I enjoyed it though. It had a 40s feel to it, but with a futuristic side. Kind of like "The League of Extrordinary Gentlemen". It had some good points, and then some others that were just dull. I didn't care much for the ending it was just too... corny and predictable. Oh look, happily ever after, the end. x_X;

The robots that attacked the city in the beginning reminded me all to much of the alien robot from "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (which was also an uberly cool movie).

In my opinion, it was rubbish.

I watched it a few months back...and I can't believe I sat through it all. Not my 'kind' of movie.
