Am I the only one who really wonders about Hitoshi's apperance in the third season? I mean he just shows up out of nowhere as Jin of the Gale/Shippu No Jing. Then several eps later we find out that he's Tyson's brother! (poor Hitoshi). What I find strange is how long has Hitoshi been away? (come on, he had to have been away for quite awhile considering that Tyson doesn't even realise it's him) WHERE has he been all that time? And finally why did Tyson or even his father or grandpa never mention him? What are your views on this strangeness. PS: If you want to, put where you think Hitoshi got the outfit he wears as Jin of the Gale. |

...I seem to recall Tyson saying something about Hiro travelling with their father on archaeological trips. |

i dont know anything about that, but is already usual these things happen in animes to make some misterious and stuff like that,i mean,i jnow thats strange,in others season tyson never talk about a brother,at least, ive never heard him talking about it,actually, why would him talk about a brother?he never hace the chance to talk about it,so he doesnt did so.Ive never see grev before,i think that hitoshi has a mask to we dont see his face, right?is a little bit hard to find out who is he with that mask,so tyson didnt know who was he.So,i think that make some sense,i dont know,it is just what i think^^;;; |

Hitoshi actually shows up in the very first volume of the Beyblade manga, as Jin. I don't think we learn he's Takao's brother in that volume though. |

If I remember right, Granpa mentions him in the manga of the first series and I think he appears as Jin and gives Kai and the Blade sharks a hard time. And he also talks to Rei in the first series of the manga. |

Don't read the manga. Pity. And I remember when I was surfing the net one day, I found a picture of Hitoshi and it looked like he was teaching the kids how to beyblade. Maybe that's what he'd been up to. And Hilary_Hiwatari, he does wear a mask but you can still see his eyes and also, surely something else would have given it away. Like his mannerisms, the things he says etc. How could Tyson not notice that? And in season one the bladebreakers see Tyson's dad on that tape (Dark Blader saga) and Tyson tells them that he's (the dad) a archaeologist. No mention of a brother or even someone related to Tyson that helps him. Then later when they meet Tyson's dad, once again there is no mention of Hitoshi, no hint, nadda. And let's not forget Tyson had TWO years, roughly, to even just hint that he had a bro. |

I'm pretty sure Takao does mention he has an older brother in one of the early season one episodes. This is just in the Japanese version though. I'm not sure he mentioned this in the dub. Edit: He does, it's in episode 3 of the Japanese version where he mentions his father and older brother. |

yeah,it is true, but maybe tyson doesnt see his brother a long time ago and doesnt notice his voice and stuff but still weird...really i think that they should talk about his brother but they didnt do it,just to create some suspense, what it is stupid. |

Not necessarily. I ran into one of my best friends from college after not seeing her for barely a year and didn't recognise her until she told me who she was. That might just make me a ditz but whatever.... Takao hasn't seen Hitoshi for at least two years, maybe more than that. And Takao's only young. Aged ten in season one, and Hitoshi wasn't around then. If his brother had been gone a long time, maybe he was too young to really remember him *shrugs* |

I thought Tyson was thirteen? Or so. Never got to see Japanase beyblade eps. Another question about Hitoshi, why did he bother with all that Jin of the Gale, specially when it was obvious Tyson didn't remember him? Why'd he do it in the first place? Knowing me, they probably answer that right on the show and I just don't recall. |

Hilary_Hiwatari: The manga has been out in Australia since like March last year. ^__^ So most of the info on the manga is from us Aussies. Hitoshi-lover: Hitoshi's motive for being Jin of the Gale.. is probably something you'll have to speculate on yourself. He did it to help Tyson with Beyblading (well, duh), but why he had to disguise himself is beyond me.

Actually when he sees Jin for the first time (EP 1) He says that he looks familiar. |
