*pulls Asuki back out* It's a matter of your tastes hun! You can't change them!

Yes, I agree animeandraia, the Extended Versions are awsome! Me and my bro have a system. I buy the cinema versions and he the extended XD.

I personally like the first one the most, followed very closely by the third.

I'm with Asuki, I'm not a big fan. ^_^UU The movies are awsome. But the books are boring, at least to me...

They're very detailed, long and tough to read. I read them all a few times but now I'm somehow not able to get that far.

I thought the Books were amazing. The movies- despite not having some of the stuf that was in the books were great none the less.

The books were great yes, but the second book, the second part, was so boring and couldn't interest me whatsoever.

The second part of TTT was horrid to get through in the book. I like it much better how they did it in the movie with combining the first and second parts. Made more sense then doing all the Frodo and Sam stuff in the second half.

Yes indeed! ^^ The Pippin and Merry part in the second book's really awsome tho. It really captures your attention. Especially the ending was good with Saruman in the tower and Pippin looking in that palantir.

I loved the movies. xD I've read the three books too. The second book was a bit more boring then the other ones, but I still liked it. :3 They cut out so much. ;__;

I first watched the first movie, then I watched the second movie, then I read the three books and I last watched the third movie. :3

Frodo should have not left... ;___; Noooo! xD

Pippin is hilarious. xDD

The movies are great. Return of The King was a good way to end it.

I loved LOTR. After Two Towers, I became madly obsessed with both the movie itself and the whole Battle of Helms Deep scene. I can't remember much of Return of the King though since I'm still waiting for the extended version to come out - I wanna see what they add in that pack.

I love the whole idea and plot of LOTR. It's so imaginary and the graphics themselves... Love it. Plus, with Pippin added to create a VERY good distraction of humour, there's nothing else needed for the movie (Gimli was funny too). I also loved the music... yes I loved basically everything about the movie. Also, who couldn't enjoy the scenery for each part? It was so detailed and beautiful - other parts were of course dark and gloomy, but it's hard not to admire the landscape!

Though, the books to me, were so boring. There was TOO much discription for my liking - I just couldn't get into it really. But overall, I LOVE LOTR! It's one of the best!

I had the luck to see Howard Shore live at work ^^. He came to Antwerp to give one of his first LOTR concerts in May this year. It was awsome! At the end everyone stood up and clapped for ages, and the whole orcest had to come back three times! XD
