It doesn't matter, because OCs are meaningless in the end no matter how good they might be. Trust me, I know how the system works. I was muddled into such a system in another fandom just a few years ago. O_o; Good OCs just spark jealousy in other rabid fangirls. Even if there are good OCs, can't people start being a tad bit more original than a generic Kai/Rei/Tala GF just because they're not creative enough/too lazy/too self-centered to develop already-existing characters? I dunno, I'd be way more interested in reading a Kai x Real Character fic (no matter how out-there or unlikely that character would be with Kai) than a fic that says "Kai x OC... it's good! I *swear*.". It feels like cheating, really. T_T; So, yeah. There are perfectly good reasons why people don't like OCs. If they wanna get in on the Beyblade fandom and read some fanfics and enjoy some fanart, one would probably like to see some of the REAL CHARACTERS more often than not. And if paired, most likely paired with a character they actually know so they can kinda understand it without having to listen to pages and pages of the creator's drivel about why they're the OTP sent from the deepest pits of heaven. Besides, fanmade characters have a history of exploding heinously from the clashing continuities by friends and other authors they collab with, and friendships break because of said characters (I've seen it happen O_O), and in the end they all are long and forgotten as said characters probably, eventually, move on to become REAL original characters in a fangirl's flamingly gay original series. ... Maybe I went too into detail in that. XD; I'm just saying, making an OC for Kai just for the sake of pairing him with a girl is not the answer. It might seem like a fun alternative, but it's not all it's cracked up to be. And you certainly don't see the Japanese resorting to such desperate measures. XD; They're like me; take the creative, effed up route! |

If I've read this correctly...friendships break because of this kind of thing? That sounds really stupid to me...I'm not saying that you're wrong, I'm just saying people who are like that don't know the finer things in life...Whoever's like that has to realise the characters aren't real...get over it. |

What I'm saying is historically accurate for many, many fanbases. X_x; If it's not already happening for Beyblade, then I'm honestly surprised. Still, yes. People like that need a serious reality check, and obviously can't handle OCs in their own right anyway. ><; So I don't think it's worth it to go all out and create the perfect girl for Kai. People take it the wrong way in ways you'll never imagine... Besides, it's obvious Beyblade, as it is, lacks a strong female cast that could ever come within a mile of Kai. That's not even near to being the series' biggest fault, though... and people really shouldn't treat it that way. XD; They're better off just keeping their bad-boy OMFG-drooly hormones to themselves, or at least keep it in real life or something. Away from everybody else... Still yet, I can't get myself to give a damn for any OC, no matter how presitgious. ^_^; I'm HIGHLY, HIGHLY disinterested in them. And as someone who's run into Kai/Mariah and Kai/Hilary smut at some point or another unwillingly, I have to say even THAT burns less than seeing pictures of Kai macking on some random OC. X_x; |

Kai... Kai... I was thinking of Kai. That adorable purple-haired character from Beyblade with a sharksfin tatoo. I think he and Anna of Shaman King can get together like forum twins. I don't think there is someone from the series paired with Kai good enough except the phoenix on my opinion. |

No, not relationships that can lead to marriage and anything further. That phoenix and Kai have been good buddies since the start so in my opinion, they can be as close as best friends, shaman and a spirit (most likely) or forum twins and the like. |

Not that kind of relationship. Kai doesn't like anyone. People should accept that and move on. |

It's a shame some people can't. They'll just deny the truth and keep going with the whole concept. |

Okay, here's the story for you, Rikku: What myself and the others here are trying to say is...Kai doesn't have a love interest. However, quite a few fangirls refuse to believe it, and create OCs because they feel it "gives them a claim over the character", or support a cannon pairing such as Kai/Mariah...*Shudders at the thought of K/M* because they picture themselves in that situation ...Farfetched, I know, but I've actually met someone who's like that... I, however, believe that some OCs are good (The ones that are actually proper, normal human beings), but we'll skip the OC stuff. That's not particularly relevant right now. Anyway, all in all, Kai doesn't love anyone in the anime series. Maybe, later on in his life, he might (Who else can be a mother to Gou?), but in the anime, he doesn't, and people have to live with it. |

Okay... I don't think most of the fangirls would agree to that... But anyway, No, no, no, no, Kai and Hilary are *not* a couple, Kai and random girl are *not* a couple, and (For all those yaoi fans here, Kai and random boy are *not* a couple either) Think about it. Kai doesn't even want people caring about him. He doesn't care about people either. Why would he want someone to be a part of his life? |
