No one is evil. Everyone has a good side and a bad side. Though... I'd have to say Yuriy looks so much more sexy when he's angry >>' though that smile is cute. |

Tala wasn't 'friends' with Tyson, the handshake was approval that Tala was on the 'right' side and that Boris' plans were wrong. |

I more think that the handshake stood for Tala's sign of respect towards Tyson. |

I think that handshake meant: TYSON-"This handshake means were friends" TALA-"Hes shakin hands w/ me bec. maybe it means "good game"" In my opinion, Tala looks evil, in a cool way. But isnt really evil 0_0 |

He's not THAT evil...sure, he's got his cold and moody sides (must be teen thing...¬¬) but aside from that, there is a good part to Tala. I mean...yes he did shake hands with the unbearable Tyson... <_< (despise Tyson...) but, meh...he's still a loony in G Rev, so it shows Tala's still got a bad side to him... Tala rules....100% |

...A human simply cannot be totally 'evil'. Even if he/she wanted. In Season 1, Yuriy was evil. Cyborgs are created with one only purpose: Destruction. With that power of destruction, the cyborg's master/owner would probably want to conquer the world, since 'the power he created', obeys each of his commands. ...In the end, Yuriy 'turns' into human. He learns that no one - not even him - can be perfect, since he lost to Takao. Since it happens only in the end of this season, and this topic is on this forum, my conclusion is: Yuriy is evil in this season, only while he thinks he's perfect. |

He wasn't a cyborg... the dub just made him sound like one where he said 'processing' and 'computing'. He was only 'evil' because of what he was taught. Right and wrong for him was different, there was only the 'right' thing to do which was win under Boris' command. |

Well, Tala isn't a cyborg, but they put him in a test tube-thing and gave him some 'enhanced engineering', which doesn't really suggest he's human either, I don't think. So, it may be the enhanced engineering he received was intoxicated with Boris' commands, making him believe he was evil and the most perfect specimen on the planet and that no one can defeat him. Take Final Showdown for example, when Tala says: "This is a game when only the strong survive, and I'm the most powerful blader alive!" or something like that...this tell me the engineering influenced him to believe he was invincible, and wasn't. And Boris says (in "New and Cyber-Improved"): "His only goal is...to win!" kind of shows that Tala has no chance with the engineering inside him... whew...what a mouthful...00... But that's what I believe is true, and I did record all the Russian Tournament episodes on video tape, so...I could just watch them again to comb the actual details of Tala's evil/good side, if need be... |

...Yuriy is human. If he wasn't, don't you think he would have malfunctioned by the time G-Revolution came along. Especially with the battle with Garland. I don't believe Yuriy was ever evil. Like the other Demolition Boys, he was trained for years to think the way he did. It was the only choice of life for him at the time, and he trusted those in charge. To repay years of training, he gave back loyalty and obedience to their cause. Being influenced to think a certain way doesn't automatically mean you'll always believe in it, and to prove the point, just look at his attitude towards Balkov in season 3. He learned from mistakes he made in season 1 and set out to make up for them. If people do associate him with being evil, it's only because of his past and the way he was taught. But you don't always end up the way the people who raise you plan. Other factors come into play. And to clear all that up about Takao and Yuriy being friends, the handshake was a sign of respect and a 'no hard feelings' gesture. Nothing more. Doesn't mean Yuriy became 'good' at that moment. So, yes, he was under the influence of 'evil' and carrying out the plans for 'evil', and maybe had an 'evil/ruthless' streak in him, but the real 'evil' in season 1 were the masterminds behind BIOVOLT...Balkov and Voltaire, who were manipulating everyone. Or, tried to. |

True... But, he is kind of evil... I mean, everyone is evil at some point in there life... So, it's not like he's Mr. Perky-Happy, who likes to skip around in the flowers and help save kitties from trees... >< That's Max's job... |
