I can't help noticing that nobody except for Rowan has replied in the Dinner and Conversation Thread in over two months. Yes Myre and Faric posted after I did but, sorry to say, neither of you really responded to what Sirus had to say. You both could have acknowledged that you understood what the mission was and that they had nothing to add. Now I think it is only fair to find out who really wants to be a part of this voyage because it has been trying to get way long before I even joined and is apparently still having troubles with inactive members. I realize that Eve was taking a brief breather and therefore was missing as Rowan, but anyone else could have added their reply to Sirus without having to wait for her as many of you have said that was what you were doing. Well, now she HAS posted for Rowan and still there are no replies within that thread. If you have a character involved in the Dinner and Conversation Thread and would wish to still be apart of the Mission to LoMM, please respond to this message with: "I am still in." After which, I expect to see a post from your character in the actual thread itself. Now I know I am not an Admin but I have six characters on four different sites and am currently running a Site as well. And I honestly don't feel that it's fair to sit idly by doing nothing to further this venture when there are other people who gladly would. I have a job, a family and other important things to do and I still find time to post for my characters and when I don't, I let people know. So please, either post a reply in the thread or at least let those who do wish to be apart of it know that you have no desire to come along. Well technically the meeting is over, so I think I'm going to make a post for Row in Illian and get the actual voyage underway. If you want you can have her run into Alex getting on/already on the ship, etc. Would make for a nice moment of drama.  Also on the LoMM note: I would love to hear from everyone involved (and anyone who would like to NPC a LoMM char too!) about what they'd like to see go down plot wise there. Neil had previously had the entire thing planned out like a campaign and he no longer plays Sirus and since that is far too much to ask of Jenny (who has taken over the character) I'd like to open the floor to let everyone discuss. Ok, here's my thought about it, It seems that we're going to be dealing with a group of people who've lived on an island for thousands of years. Either they're going to be divided into different clans or tribes (like the norsemen of our own world) who aren't connected by any form of ruling government or they will be more like the japanese with either someone ruling them from a head or fighting amongst themselves. Personally I would like to see one of these situations, but it's up to the group This is assuming i'm allowed input. |

I would love to see some kind of action or situation that requires the combined effort of the group to resolve. Help them create a slightly stronger bond between the two towers, I'm not saying it will make them the best of friends but to create more trust between them. Also, I think it would prove interesting to actually recruit some channelers to bring back with them; both men and women if possible. And somewhere in the middle of all that, Sirus and Sabine should get bonded! lol Anyways, those are just a few of my thoughts on the matter. I'm excited to see what everyone else thinks.

Okay so here's the 411 homeslices... The expedition has been trying to get off the ground since the site opened and we're still not there yet. A good deal of this is my fault due to the fact that I frequently get tied up by school and over all life. What I suggest is that we 86 it (that is cancel) for the time being. I will have Rowan receive a correspondence from the Tower telling her about the Amyrlin's condition and that the Hall has voted for the sisters who are meant to go on the expedition to return to Tar Valon immediately. Then, due to a new and interesting plot being brought about by Darkling and Graddion, Trolloc raids will begin in the extreme in the Borderlands. A new war with the Shadow is beginning and both Asha'man and Aes Sedai will be needed there. There are also some definite surprises coming and it will be good to see if the plans that are being laid work out... I'm not telling anyone anything yet, just that its going to be intense!! lol So without further adieu, I'd like to get a quick show of hands from everyone agreeing to at least postpone the mission, perhaps someday to return to it. P.S. Those Aes Sedai/Asha'man who have grown close may work out some side plots of their own *cough*Sirus, Sabine*cough, cough* that may end in a bonding of some sort...

I'm against cancelling the expedition, but I do agree with at least postponing it. When I first joined the site and created Alex (two years ago!? has it really been that long?) the first plot I was involved in was the LOMM expedition. As such I haven't done nearly as much with Alex as I would like, nor have I gotten anywhere close to accomplishing the reason why I created him in the first place. *throws a significant look toward Rowan* It's too good of an idea to toss altogether, so I vote for archiving it for later use. |

Alright, its official, I'm going to write the thread now. The mission has been postponed. We will return to the LoMM eventually, but right now there's plenty to do "at home" as it were. Yay for wars though! XD |

Well I hate to see the expedition get postponed but at the same time I know the reason why. Anyways, war is always exciting and intense! Though I hate surprises and would rather know what to excpect but I guess I'll suffer through not knowing for now! lol Curious though, does Sirus's letter say the same as Rowans? I wish to work up a reply but I feel the information in his letter to be a crutial part and therefore I need to know what his letter says. I am guessing that it's the same but I just want to make sure before I go on assuming anything.
