How does everyone feel about a thread for general photography/snapshots, and the discussions they generates?

I'll start with a couple...

The first was taken of my desktop (my actual desktop, that is) after a day of building, and the second was taken out in the yard.

Please, add your own shots...

Oh, and if it's not cool to post fullsize, and thumbnails are preffered - then I apologize. I did not see way to post thumbnails...

I love pitchures! :dreamy:

JMHO, SquidInk, the size of your pics is perfect. The reason thumbnails are preferred is SOME cases is because the pics are so big that they "blow up" the page frames & sorta wreck the flow of the whole thread....or at least that page.

Don't think the code for thumbnails is here on the forum; those are at the picture hosting site. (photobucket, et al.)

A bath and a drink. The 2 doves in the second pic had just finished bathing as well. I have to shoot through a fogged up window and a screen. If I try to move outside no birds come to the bird bath.

Remarkable shots, Navi! I don't see that shooting through the window has impaired the clarity at all. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Your photos are ... umm ... different. I guess all God's creatures are beautiful; but, a fly?? The flower's pretty. :coolshades:

Nice calm, cool clover; the head is a little startling; I know, it's just a broken piece of marble, stone, concrete.......still .... startling is the only word I can think of.

Startling is a great word. And flies are pollinators, so think of it like a harbinger of future flowers!

How 'bout this one:

It's a car I fixed up once... 1970 Plymouth Duster 340 | F4 Light Metallic Green (factory original color, repainted) | Two-tone green interior | newer ' swirl port' heads, mild purple shaft cam, factory inverted manifolds

I won many a late night California drag race in that car. Nobody understands the power to weight ratios of A-body Mopars.

Fun times.

Really? The scope of the SC car culture never ceases to amaze... I also had a '73 (slant six, three speed - souped up of course)

That one looks like pure FUN & it's beautiful! I love the color; twin to the color I chose for my '41 (originally black, of course).

Don't think this one ever won any races, though. ...oh, well
