Name: Blooded dirt Stats: 9 (S), 9 (P), 5 (E), 3©, 5 (I), 6 (A), 3 (L) Race: Human, Caucasian Age: 17 Years Old Personality: Blooded dirt is a naïve young ex-slave who doesn't have much experience outside of his tribal routs or his master’s cruelty. Around people Blooded dirt is submissive and has trouble voicing what he wants to say. This is due to the cruelty of his masters if he spoke out against them. While Blooded dirt is cold at the best of times he does try to do what is best in a situation, or at least, what he perceives as right. Going back to his tribal days dirt thinks that his old lifestyle is best for the new wasteland and will explain why if anyone asks him about his past before he was enslaved. When approached by people who need protection, dirt will defend those who are weaker than him. Dirt despises any form of slavers, raiders or anyone else that causes suffering to others. It is here where dirt can be seen as flat out cruel. No matter the slavers situation dirt will make them suffer or just flat out kill them if he has the chance to. If he does get the chance he will plan a vicious attack using his knowledge of tribal weaponry and hunting tactics to ensure that he remains hidden while dealing what he perceives as justice upon his targets. When dirt is in a fight he shows little remorse whether killing animals, mutants or humans. While he would attempt not to hurt the weak or needy he has no quarrels with killing anyone who gives him reason. Dirt sees himself as his tribe’s avenger and any action against a slaver is justified because of his tribes suffering. Appearance: standing at a tall 6’2” dirt weighs in at 172 lbs and has a slight muscular build. His face appears dirty. His face is also quite angular. Apart from this he looks quite average. His skin is tanned and is also very rough. His head is shaven with very short brown hair. Running up the back of his neck to his forehead is his tribe’s tattoo which had faded as he has had it from birth, simple in design it is drawn like the scales of a lizard. He also has a more complicated tattoo on his fingers of the claws of a hellcat. Dirt’s back is covered in scars from his master’s beatings when he was disobedient. Dirt doesn't seem to take good care of his body, it being covered in dirt and often going without a decent wash for weeks at a time. His teeth are yellow with a few missing. The reason for this is because a hunter who didn't smell like his surrounding would give himself away. Dirt is often seen wearing an old set of tribal battle armour. The set is what he would have worn if his tribe had survived the tribal raid. The suit is designed for the hunters of the tribe and has patterns like a lizards scales. It covers his forearms, shoulders and covers his legs from the knees up with nothing below this all held together by a few bits of string across his body. On his leg is his quiver with his bolts on it. On his back he carries a small bag stolen from his masters the day he escaped. Starting Equipment: Weapons- 1x Primitive spear (in good repair)- used for defences against the creatures of the wasteland or people with no fire arms . The pole of the spear has leather strapped around it to make it easier to hold .Taken from the ruins of the tribe’s settlement 1x Junk flinger (in average repair)- a crossbow made of scavenged metal from around the tribes area. Designed to fire animal bone shaped bolts. Is covered in leather and burlap to break up its shape. Taken from the ruins of the tribe’s settlement. 5x bone bolts Armor/Clothing- Poor tribal battle armour Inventory- 1x Canteen of Purified Water 1x Iguana on a stick Story: Blooded dirt was born into a medium sized tribal society called the three claws that lived around a lake in central Texas, to a father who was an experienced hunter named silent gator and to a mother who was one of the tribe’s healers named waking lizard . When he was born the tribal elder said he was to become a hunter and was given the hunters tattoo. He spent his early years learning how to hunt the various animals in the wasteland. He grew a close relationship to his father who taught him everything he knew about hunting. As is tradition within his tribe at this point in life he was yet to have a naming ceremony and would not until he had come of age. From his mother he learned the basics of medicinal plants. While he became well capable of understanding animals and how to kill them, he had no education in things like computers, writing or reading. When he turned 10 dirt was sent out on his first hunt. He spent three days in the wastes with a small party of experienced hunters but did not get his first kill until the last day of the hunt. During the night the party moved towards a small cave which they thought housed a family of mole rats. As they approached they realised their mistake when they noticed hellcat tacks around the cave. Dirt was the first to notice the hellcat in the distance. As he was first to spot it, it was his job to stalk and kill the beast. Closely watched by his father they got within 30 meters of the beast before dirt took the shot that pierced the creature’s skull. This is how he earned his claw tattoo and was allowed to get on hunts for the tribe. When Dirt was 11 the tribe’s village was attacked by slavers. Vicious in their killing they murdered all the men in the village who could not be broken by the slavers. Most of the tribe was destroyed that day. Dirt was captured after his dad was shot in the throat with a musket. Dirt was forced to watch the blood pour out of his throat. His mother was taken by a different bunch of slavers but after a few seconds her screaming stopped, she was stabbed as he attempted to fight back. He was forced to walk to the slavers base, a large camp to the north about 10 miles away. Upon arrival all the tribe’s people ill or injured were killed. A few days later the remaining tribe’s people were sold to various people. Dirt was brought by a successful ex-member of the confederates. Dirt did not know much about the world outside of his home other than the merchants who used to trade with the tribe but he had heard of the confederates from one of these merchants. He then walked to the man’s house, which was about 28 miles away from the slavers camp. The house was behind a wall made of scavenged materials from the area, the actual house was a 2 story building which had been repaired. Around the outside of the house the man had a small farm with corn growing on it as well as gnarly root. The man had brought three slaves, one old man who was a healer in another tribe and one young woman who was from a small village from the north. When they were telling their name to the master, dirt did not respond, partly out of spite and partly from not having a name. The master ordered his guards to whip the boy until he spoke. Before he was even aloud to talk his back was ripped to shreds. The blood was dripping onto the floor when the master said “well you've made my ground bloody and you're nothing but a piece of dirt im going to call you blooded dirt” the shame the boy felt from being denied his naming ceremony angered his greatly. He was forced to work on a farm for his master growing corn so the master could eat. The old man named Harold tried to calm Dirt telling him it was better to be submissive to the masters, this was the only way to survive as a slave. For a while dirt remained defiant but was broken by the age of 13 into a submissive slave. He served his master for 3 years. Until one day the farm was attacked by another group of raiders, dirt saw his opportunity, grabbing a hoe which he used on the farm he swung for his master’s head and hit his target. Dirt had grown strong after being forced to do so many years of manual labour so his strike was so hard it pierced his master’s skull and straight into his brain. Grabbing the keys to his chains he undid them and then ran while the compound was under attack. It never occurred to him what consequences this would have for his fellow slaves and he never did learn their fate. He ran in the direction he had been dragged in by his masters so many years ago, surviving on small lizards he could grab and eat, reaching the slaver camp then traveling the short distance to his old home he found it in ruin. He searched for any hint of his tribe but there were none. He was alone.the floor was littered with skelington of the tribe picked clean by animals and scavengers alike. The only thing he remembered was the small box his father had prepared and hidden in case of an emergency. He found the box intact and wore the armour of his father and took up his weapons. He had hoped to find a shaman in the camp so he could have his name ceremony but this was not to be. decided to keep his name, while it may not be a tribe name it was his only name. Filled with a burning hatred for the men that had caused this, dirt began to try and wipe out the slavers camp. While he did not manage his target his slowed down the slavers by making hit and run attacks and surviving by using the hunting knowledge his father had told him. Any slaver he captured was left tied to a rock in the wasteland and left for the animals of the wastes to kill them. He eventually moved away from the slavers camp as the slavers were catching onto his attacks and the patrols grew larger and larger he began trying to survive in a wasteland that he had not been in before. During this time Dirt began talking to traveling merchants who passed through the area regularly. Dirt then learnt of a town called bucket town. The merchants said it would be a good place for him to get work, from what dirt understood he would get things for hunting people like animals or killing animals around the town. So dirt set off to find the town. Strengths & Weaknesses: Dirt is stronger than most people and is a good fighter when it comes to melee weapons and had to hand combat. He is a good shot with his crossbow and grew up around hunters and as such he knows how to hunt, which tactics he adapted to humans. His mother had taught him some basic medical skills and what plants could be used to make healing powder. When it comes to punching he absolutely smashes through his enemy. He is very focused in any task he is set and will put all of his effort into achieving that one task. Being from a tribal background dirt learnt to survive in the harshest of environments in the wastes On the other hand Dirt never had much contact with other people outside of his tribe or his masters so he never learnt to talk to people very well , along with he is often too trusting of people giving information out without thinking of the consequences in the long run. He is also viewed as quite unlucky as bad things always seem to happen to him. He also has no idea how to use any sort of firearm other than a crossbow. He also does not know much about the anatomy of humans and as such cannot kill them as well as he can hunt animals. He also tends to just try smashing through his opponents rather than exploit weaknesses when it comes to hand to hand combat. While he is focused he often does not think about more than one thing at a time and is not too good of a multi-tasker. He also does not know how to read or write which causes issues when working with towns and leads to him often getting the raw end of deals. Traits: Heavy Handed, Hunter, Focus |

Hey Big Steve! I read of your registration and I must say although he doesn't break much new ground this is a good, well thought out, and to the rules registration. Your writing mechanics are good and I'm semi interested to see how our new wanderer adapts to his new life. All that said, You pass! This topic is being moved to the database. You should keep track of your inventory as you progress and missions you go on in it! It's also advise you put a short bit about your character in your signature so people can get a feel for him at a glance. Good luck out there. |
