Character Name: Red E. Drinnon (Edward, or his nickname, Red "Enclave" Drinnon)

Character Stats:
Strength:6
Perception:5
Endurance:5
Charisma:6
Intelligence:8
Agility:5
Luck:5

Character Race: Human

Approx. age: 30

Character Personality: He isn't selfish, or selfless. It depends on the situation. Sometimes he can't help but help others. And sometimes he doesn't have a second thought when he sees someone getting hurt. He doesn't like to talk about his scar, its the biggest mistake of his life. He keeps quiet if nothing needs to be said. He has a blank look on his face often. As if he is always thinking.

Red tends to focus on the task at hand. He doesn't feel romance, after his wife was killed. He feels love for others however. He loves anything high-tech, (power armor, energy weapons, computers, etc) and sometimes goes out of his way to retrieve it. He wants to find the remnants of American government. He mainly drifts now. Studying as much as he can about the post-war government.

Character Appearance: He has black hair, bright blue eyes, and a scar on the left of his face. From his ear, to a few inches above his ear, to his left eye, to the bottom of his neck. It is a large burn scar from an encounter he had with a crazy man wielding a flamer.

He is 6' 1", decently muscular. He weighs 200 pounds. His hair is usually kept short, above his eyes. He tries to keep his face clean shaven, but its hard to come across razers in the wasteland, so he usually has a bit of a rough beard. He is white, with a little bit of a tan where his armor reveals his skin. He has a good structure, stands straight. He has a deep voice. He speaks very clear, as if he were in the military himself. A trait he got from hearing his father talk so often. (imagine the way col. Autumn talks, similar to that, but with a deeper voice.)

His face is more on the square side. He keeps himself clean, a value his mother taught him. When his girlfriend left him, his unborn child went with her. That gave him a feeling of having lost a huge part of himself. He keeps his interest in the post war gov. professional, and secretive, unless you really need to know. Or he trusts you.

Starting equipment: A kitchen steak knife, and a Varmint rifle. A leather duster (he doesnt have a shirt under it), black pants, a belt with an Enclave emblem on it. (See back story) Under garments with Enclave written across the waistband, and socks with an Enclave emblem.

Character story: Red Drinnon was born in Florida, to a mother who ran an Energy weapons store, and a father who was very patriotic of the post-war government. His father would love to listen to Neo-patriot radio broadcasts, and hum along to the anthem. When he was 9, his mother was killed by organized raiders, because she wouldn't willingly hand over her energy weapons. His father wanted to intervene, but would have suffered the same fate. His father and him had nowhere else to go, so they decided they would try to find the remnants of the post war government. They headed north, where a few travelers said they saw flying machines flying to and from Washington. The journey took many years, and by the time they reached the outskirts of Washington, they got word that the post war government, or the "Enclave" 's base, satellites, and air base had been destroyed. That enraged him and his father, because the Enclave was their best hope for safety, and health, as far as they knew.

His father also trained him how to survive in the wasteland while they were searching. Teaching him useful things like making a camp, shooting a few energy weapons they came across, and wiring old eyebots. They came across an Enclave officer that un-officially retired from duty. He said there may be a base to the South that could take them in, but he wasn't sure if the Enclave even stretched that far. The man saw the bad condition Red and his father were in, from so much travel, and offered them some of his old gear. He gave them Enclave manufactured underwear, socks, a belt, and a couple laser pistols. It was a kind gesture, that excited Red and his father, because if one man in the Enclave was this generous, why not all of them?

It was hardly a lead, but it was better than nothing, so they headed out.

It was a warm day on the west side of Florida, when they were visiting their old town. Most of the people they knew moved away, because of a local drought. The place still looked half decent though, like someone had been living there. His father went to check out the old Energy weapons store, and Red went to the old house. It was here that Red realized they town was inhabited by Raiders. Red opened his old bedroom door, and was greeted by a psychotic man with a flamer, who burned the left side of his face. Red panicked and ran outside, where his father had already fended off 3 more raiders with his laser pistol.

The raider quickly followed Red outside, and his father shot the man several times with his laser weapon. That day forever marked Red, literally and figuratively.

When they reached Texas, Red was 27, and his father was 56. His father died in a fight with a gang leader at a settlement to the east of Texas. His father started the fight, while he was drunk on cheap whiskey. The ganger ignored him, until the father threw his empty bottle at the mans metal armor. The gangster retaliated with a punch in the face, and his father went down. The man felt no sorrow for the old an, and drew his revolver. Before Red could react, his father was shot in the head. Red was infuriated, but this time, he could defend his family. He overloaded his laser rifle, and shot the leader from behind, vaporizing him. This blew out his rifle, but the other gang members were too scared to raise a weapon against Red, because none of them were even half as brutal as their leader, who was now a pile of wash. For the next few years, Red traveled the wastes, looking for the Enclave. He had to avenge his family, and didn't have the equipment or proper training. He also wanted to have the feeling of family again, and wanted to be a part of something larger than himself.

He recently turned to bounty hunting as a quick way to earn caps.

Character strengths and weaknesses:
Strengths: He is good with energy weapons, and knows his way around technology very well. He can survive for a good stretch with only necessities, with the survival training his father gave him. He is good at turning a profit.

Weaknesses: He always thinks people are looking at his scar. He loves the Enclave, but is VERY blind to the harm they have caused. Despises the BoS, which gets him into trouble. Bad with regular guns. Can't feel romance. Will do a lot of things for caps.

This being your second character, it's actually better than I expected at first glance. I'm partially picky with a lot of stuff, so I think you still have some room for fleshing stuff out, as well as some general gripes that you can fix in only a few moments.

Personality is solid, albeit brief. Perhaps focus on his ambitions or what emotions he personifies with the most? Add a sentence to each paragraph and it should be good to go, it seems only a line or two short!

Appearance is three paragraphs minimum. So, when it comes to appearance, a lot of niche stuff is commonly left to the readers imagination. In order to flesh out the character description to match the site requirements, I'd say just assume the reader is clueless and add in every possible detail used when someone else would describe your character. Posture, hair style, are his features more rounded or squared, does anything really stand out about him? Is he dirty or clean, how's his hygiene, does he have any tattoos? You can also describe your characters clothing and armor in your description as well!

You're fine equipment wise, if anyone asks the varmint rifle is a tier one pipe rifle. The enclave stuff is really iffy, but we can talk about that later.

History wise, a few problems arise. There are no enclave broadcasts in our setting, as the enclave presence is practically non-existant. I guess you can just replace that word with "American" or "Neo-Patriot" broadcasts, as they're the closest thing we have to the Enclave when it comes to restoring the past glory of the US. Also, I'd prefer if you removed the BoS killing her, as again, the BoS are a shadowy organisation that isn't really active in Florida in our setting.

You can keep them going to DC, as that seems like it could have been extremely outdated info, and them going to look for the enclave there seems fine as well.

Yeah you can keep the ex-enclave officer in too, why not? Whether or not he was genuine or some whacko with access to a niche clothing store is another matter though ;)

No paladins in Texas, so gotta change that as well. Besides, your character encountering someone with a gauss rifle and power armor is just a no-no, as trust me when I say this, that shit is literally unheard of around south.
