Character Name: Horak the Wanderer

Character Stats: 5, 7, 7, 5, 4, 6, 6

Character Race: Human

Approx. age: 22

Character Personality: A roamer. He doesn't stay put for more than a few weeks, preferring the company of the Wasteland. Not to say he isn't friendly though. He just doesn't like settling down.

He is also a survivalist, carrying only what he needs or can sell, though he doesn't have much currency at any given time. He usually puts it into ammo, repairs that are too complicated for him, or some MREs if he can get hands on them.

He is very friendly, though blunt at times. He is usually honest, so he never really can tell a skillful lie. He tries to make friends, and has a strong sense of right and wrong. He is easy to get along with. Most of the time.

Character Appearance: He is about 6 foot tall and weighs around 230 pounds. He has tanned skin from his time in the wastes. He is a somewhat imposing figure, carrying himself tall and proud. However, he usually wears a smile.

Horak's face has a stubble beard and medium-long dark brown hair. He has some small scars from his childhood and travels through the wastes. He is muscular and lean, but not overly muscular. His figure isn't very chubby, nor very lean. He lies right inbetween fat and skinny.

He also has some scars scattered around his body, but nothing disfiguring. He usually is somewhat dirty and dusty, or covered with a bit of grime. He has a haunted look about his face, as if he has seen too much. He has a few tribal tattoos, including an eagle on his back, with wings spread down his arms.

Starting equipment: Poor Tribal Battle Armor (medium condition), Junk flinger (good condition) (wooden bolts with fire hardened tips) BB gun (medium condition), map (medium condition)

Character story: Born to tribal parents in one of the more civilized tribes in the wastes, Horak has a bit of a story behind him. As a kid, he learned how to shoot with a BB gun that was scavenged from a Pre-War house, given to him as a birthday present. He was ok with it, and he was able to take down some rats and birds over time. Other than that, he had a fairly average childhood.

When he was 15, his rite of manhood began. He had to build a crossbow, the tribe's favored ranged weapon, along with scavenged pistols. He did so with care, and then had to use it to protect himself during a three day trek through the wastes to the tribe's sacred place, a grove of trees that were rumored to all be connected to one tree in the East Coast. He completed the trek and was welcomed back into the tribe as a man.

One day, when he and his best friend were hunting, they saw smoke in the direction of the camp, but it was thick and black, not a cooking fire. They raced back to see the tribe's home being burned to the ground by raiders. They sadly knew they wouldn't be able to drive off 15 raiders with metal armor and grenades. So the two left, taking one last visit to the grove. As it turned out, a raider was there, sleeping.

They killed the raider, and when they went through his belongings, they found Horak's father's Pip-boy, passed down through his family for a few generations. His friend let him have it with no hassle. They decided to travel together, and the Pip-boy map revealed that a settlement named Bucket Town was within a few day's walk from there. So they set off, ready to explore the wastes. Unfortunately, his friend was killed outside of Bucket Town and he was wounded by some Geckos.

Character strengths and weaknesses:

+Tribal Wisdom: Horak knows of several healing methods used by his tribe, such as Healing Powder and Healing Poultices. With the right ingredients and workspace, he can make them easily.
+Sharp senses: Horak pays attention to his surroundings, looking for signs of people, animals, and abominations.
+Tribal Warrior: He does best with tribal weapons, such as bows and spears.

-Headstrong: He likes to rush headlong into problems, which doesn't always work out for him.
-*Heavy* Chem use: While not addicted per se, Horak loves using Mentats when he needs to figure out a solution to a problem. One too many or too close together and it is likely to push him over the edge into addiction.
-Tribal Warrior: On the other hand, he isn't as good with more advanced weapons, such as higher tier guns and energy weapons in general.

Okay, another solid attempt for today. Here are few things to work on.

SPECIAL adds up to 41

Personality and Appearance sections need a little more meat to them.

Starting equipment: Duster and Junk Flinger are fine, the 9mm pistol and pipboy are too advanced for starting players. You really wont need a pipboy though, a map, a radio and a doctor can do all that it can do for you. If you want to replace the 9mm with a tier 1 pistol check out our weapons thread.

Character strengths and weaknesses: I really dig that you found some creative strengths and weaknesses here. The only thing I need more of here is the character's combat strengths and weaknesses.

Gordon "Stone" Hennigan, SPECIAL: 5.6.9.3.5.10.3. Level: 6 HC
Peter McCullough SPECIAL: 4, 4, 4, 10, 10, 4 , 4, Level 3 HC

THE CURSE OF THE MUMMY

The spirits have taken an interest in you for all the wrong reasons! Unexpected challenges will come to you during your RPs but the rewards doled out will be much juicier. It is possible to live with such a curse, but if you would rather live curse free, you could simply sell the corpse and wash your hands of the whole situation.

Lmgthev: MBP is handsome
LonesomeDrifter23: Sometimes I think MBP is a being made entirely of satire.

Alright you worked on the problems we discussed so...

You Pass

Welcome to the wastes! Hip Hip Hooray!

This topic is going to be moved to the database. There you will be expected to keep track of your character as their status changes due to injuries, new equipment, different appearances ect. This is also a great place to keep track of missions he's been on which will help other people find the stories he's been in easily. This topic is also a great to talk about your character and the direction you want to take him with other people.

You are encouraged to place your character stats and info in your signature like I have and most of the members here have done as well. Browse through a few users signatures to get the idea of what to do.
