Looking for some day labor to help me move a few brahmin. In a long salvage run not too long ago, I spotted a little squabble between some slavers and what looked to be a few recent captures. I ain't never believed in slavery, so let's just say that the slaves overpowered their master, and looked pretty favorably on yours truely. The led me to a valley where they spotted some odd animals just 'fore they got captured, and at the end of the day, I got some real weird lookin' brahmin on my hands. The guys said they thought they where some northern breed or somethin', but they're real thin and got a good bit of fur, more'n what you usually see around here, anyways.

Enough o' that though.

I finally managed to move all three of them to the area, and I even brought in some scraps on their backs to set up a little shack outside of town. They got some pretty mean dispositions though, and I need help movin' 'em, keepin' track of them, and corrallin' them. If I can get a couple of folks to help me set up something to keep them from getting away, I figure I can break 'em in at my leasure. Anyhow, I'll pay you a few hides, and maybe some things I salvaged if you do real good. As long as you can actually work, move some pretty heavy stuff, and stay workin' hard all day, I'll take ya' on. Probably don't need more then two hands, but we'll see.

Emmett was new in town, he was still weary of the people and needed some money. As he walked down Buckettown's main street, he saw a sickly looking building teeming with people, its's sign said "BOBO'S". Emmett walked in and saw it was a bar, busy and alive.
Emmett sat on a stool and lit the cigarillo he possessed. Emmett hailed the barman and inquired, "Well, I'm new, you got any work around here?"
The barman replied,"Check the goddamn bulletin board."

Emmett walked to the bulletin board and examined it, he found one that he like in particular,"Looking for some day labor to help me move a few brahmin. In a long salvage run not too long ago, I spotted a little squabble between some slavers and what looked to be a few recent captures. Emmett returned to the barman and told him about the job.
"I have 'previous experience' with cattle, sign me up."

"Well kid, it looks like you and that other kid where the only ones who took the job. He said that'd be good enough though, so you should head on down there. I think he's trying to set up just an hour or so outside of town, to the east. There's some raiders near there, I heard, so you should probably be strapped, if you know what I mean."

The other kid was just that, a young tribal looking kid. It was customary for one of the more local tribes to send out it's youths for a year or so, to make a living. He was a thin and leath, with an odd accent. He had a mean look in his eyes, and his hair was shaven bald except for a single thick braid extending rom the side down to below his ear. He was shirtless, and only wore a woven cloth, almost skirtlike, athat went down past his knees. His tone was contemptuious. "You wanna' get the show on the road already baba? There's a talk of a war brewin' with those damn big ugly Kurgans. We need every man we can get."
