And you might get to use it. The next event's subject has been chosen, and it's a salvage for extremely rare and one-of-a-kind equipment. All of it has a story, all of it has unique effects, and most of it is custom made. In the spirit of this, I'm going to open up the gates for members to throuw out some interesting ultra-unique weapons, armors, and items. I've already made quite a few (About four), so chances are a couple of your may overlap my own ideas. In which case, they'll probably be combined into one even more unique item. Other then that, one or two user submitted weapons will appear in the event. Only thing is! You won't know until it happens. General rules of thumb: -What is it? -What's special about it? -How'd it get that way? -Does it have a long or illustrious history? -What about a fun unique name? |

Name: 11 (When you read what the weapon is you will understand the name, and if you don't I will give you a clue at the end.) What is it: A guitar, I'm really going for musical instrument weapons here. The tunes you can make can deafen all enemy's, set them on fire with a power cord and blow there minds with a solo! What great fun! (Like actually blowing there minds. See: Headshots in fallout 3) How it got that way: In the wake of the 1950s rock music, a special guitar was designed for the Rock King, Elvis himself. But unfortunately no modern amps were strong enough to handle the power of the guitar, and was never used. So the man who invented the guitar John Wong, continued working on the guitar until his death in 2001. He was able to reinforce the strings and build an amp on the inside of the guitar to project the sounds. Instead of the normal 6 strings, the guitar, nicknamed "11" by Mr. Wong, had a 7th string. The first time the 7th string was added (around 1987) David gave the guitar to his friend John for testing. John tested the first 6 strings, but died immediately after striking the 7th string. David labeled the 7th string as "Do not use" instead of removing it. (As such would be to difficult without striking the string itself.) The guitar was finished and 2001, a day before David Wong's death. It is unknown how Mr. Wong died, but it is suspected the guitar was used in some way. Mr. Wong's nephew, Keith, found the guitar, but was unaware of his uncles death. Keith took the guitar and played it at a concert with his band. After the first song started, Keith hit the 7th string and immediately everyone in the crowd died, except for Keith and his band, who were not facing the guitars built-in amp. Keith was charged with over 100 accounts of murder and sentenced to death. The guitar was given to the rest off the band, and never seen again. Picture A rough ms paint picture of the guitar, notice the amp in the upper left and no amp input. The lighting bolts were added by Keith's band. (CLUE: Turn it up to 11!) |

The Big Iron Weapon Type: Legendary Melee Weapon - Bowie Knife Picture of the Big Iron "There once was a man who travelled Louisiana, earning his money as a Card Sharp. Whenever someone claimed he cheated, he'd put his knife in the table and give his challenge. Two men, one knife, whoever draws blood first is right. He used a Bowie called the Big Iron, a real monster. Size of a small machete. Thing had the whole shebang going on, full tang, perfect balance, it was quicker and tougher than any knife it's size. It was sharp enough to shave with, and legends say it never lost it's edge. No one knows where the Card Sharp went. He just dropped off the map in Baton Rouge. Ever since then, the Big Iron has turned up here and there, and most markets are full of knives claiming to be the one and only Big Iron. Most are poor-quality ripoffs though." A bigger, meaner variation of the Bowie Knife. Better balance makes it quicker and more agile. Better reach, faster and more durable, the blade's big enough to cut a human head clean off and heavy enough to cut firewood. True to the Bowie Creed, it's heavy enough to use as an axe, wide enough to use as a paddle, and sharp enough to shave and fight with. Chance - There's a chance that the Big Iron you get your hands on is an immitation, and nowhere near the quality of the real thing. Even an immitation has to have some work put into it to mimic such a formidable weapon, and counts as a normal Combat Knife. |

Name: Bonnie and Clyde (Super Obvious reference ftw) What is it: Two matching colt pistols meant to be fired Akimbo. They lose power when fired singularly. They are destined to be together and if separated will always find their way back to each other. Each features an enlarged mag cap of 12, resulting in 24 shot total. The barrels and internal systems have been refined and strengthened for additional durability. If a male or female owns both guns and gives one to another person of the opposite gender, the other person begins to fall in love with the giver, never leaving the giver's side. When both pistols are owned luck increases but one only one is owned luck decreases. History: In the time before the sky-fire, there were two thieves whose love ran deeper than the ocean. They were killers and they were thugs and they were thieves but most importantly they were in love. They traveled together and were so deeply in love that they decided to commemorate their biggest and most recent heist with a token that would symbolize their relationship. They commissioned two pistols to be modified by the finest gunsmith available. The outside was decorated an engraved. On the right gun (Bonnie) he engraved the word "Forever" and on the left gun (Clyde) he engraved the word "Together". He had no idea how true those simple words would become. The thieves picked up their weapons but never received the chance to use them. They were shot dead inside their car and the pistols went into police custody. They were donated to a museum and that's where they sat happily together for centuries. Soon however the sky went black and the Great Sky-fire took hold of the city. The museum crashed, and looters searching the rubble found only one pistol. The pistol traveled with a man named "Big Toe" Joseph who used it for defense. Before wielding the weapon Joseph was the luckiest man alive but soon all his family fell ill and died, his house crumpled, his clothes became torn and shredded and he had nothing but the pistol left. He used that pistol on a cold September morning on March 24 to take his own life. It wasn't long before looters found Joseph's body and collected the pistol. Scratched on the ground next to Joseph's body were the words "Take me back to my beloved." and simple direction back to the museum ruins. The scavvers were gracious and carried Joseph's body all the way back to the museum ruins but were confounded to find only an empty ruin and no human settlement. They were confused and buried Joseph's body in the rubble anyway, however while digging the hole they found another pistol, just like the one they pulled off of Joseph's body. They took it and the pistols were together again. They traveled with the scavvers for years and the scavvers lived a happy life, even as far as getting married and settling down in former Texas. They had two children and passed away peacefully on October 1. The children decided to split the parent's possessions, including the pistols. The eldest brother took one and the the younger took the other. They went their separate ways as life went on and each kept their pistol. The eldest brother slowly lost his mind, convinced that his younger brother was trying to kill him, so he went off to find him. The eldest brother found and killed the younger on May 23 in a crowded bar, before being arrested and lynched by the village guardians. The pistols disappeared afterward. Picture (both pistols are identical) |

Emile Type: Legendary Small Gun - Double Barrel Shotgun Picture of Emile "Named after the legendary bandit, Emile "Buckshot" Jacobs, this gun is one big son of a bitch. Heavy, long, cumbersome, and kicks like a mutated horse. Why use it then? Because it'll blow a hole the size of Lake Michigan in whatever you point it at. Ammunition's rare, so only use this beast if your target really cannot live to see tomorrow. Why is it so powerful and why is the ammunition so rare? Two very good questions. Two words answer both. Eight Gauge. Yes, an 8 Gauge Shotgun. This gun is so mean it will fuck you until you like it." What is it? An 8 Gauge Over-Under Double-Barrel break-action shotgun. Not one for smaller or more physically weak characters, unless they enjoy shoulder injuries and pain later in life. Stock's big and beefy enough to kill a man with too. Aim well though, 8 Gauge ammunition was rare enough when the factories that made the stuff were still standing. ---- Louise Type: Legendary Small Gun - Three Barrel Shotgun Picture of Louise "A brave Kentucky hunter used this weapon for years. It's a fine piece of work. A Three Barrel Shotgun he named after his daughter. 20 Gauge, so it doesn't quite pack the punch of your average double-barrel, but it carries 50% more ammunition, the ammunition's lighter, and when the shit really hits the fan, you can give it all three barrels. Don't expect to stay standing if you do though." What is it? A three barrel 20 Gauge shotgun. Less recoil, lighter ammunition (roughly as common as 12 Gauge), and three barrels. Did I mention it has three barrels? |

Name: Smith and Wesson APR What is it: A big-ass revolver. It'll punch a hole in steel and is designed specifically for perforating armor. The price of this is weight and very little in the way of number of shots. 4 shots in cylinder, uses 500 SW magnums but increases penetration of round. Hope you enjoyed your wrist while it lasted. The weapons is slightly unwieldy and possibly dangerous because it was never fully developed. HistoryDeveloped as a prototype in Smith and Wesson labs. It was requested by the army because intel began to suggest that the Chinese were reverse engineering American Made power armor to create their own. The army as nervous because they've seen first hand the fear that power armor creates. They contacted SW and requested a weapon that could perforate the power with ease. This large revolver was the result but it never left the prototype stage with only a few ever being made. The first test showed incredible promise however, punching through armor and steel with shocking ease and the bullets had the additional effect of shattering once inside the body. The Swampers Friend Nearly one hundred years ago, a Swamper leader known now as ‘Jackson the Slayer’ came across the Southern Wastes like a great plague. Town after town was ravaged by his Swamper horde, consisting of nearly 200 hundred Swampers total (A feat never seen before or since). Always leading from the front, Jackson the Slayer has been arrtibtued to at least 100 kills with his sword alone. After the Swamper horde was defeated by force of Brotherhood of Steel members, Jacksons sword was never found. People have gone looking for the sword, only to simply return with nothing. Picture of the Swamper's Friend What is it: The Swampers Friend is a massive two-handed sword carried by a famous Swamper. Known to be able to pierce nearly any armor expect for Power Armor. It gives the owner massive amounts of respect to the Swampers to the point that many would start viewing you as one, and imadation points to any non-swampers. However, this comes at the cost of earning the enmity of civilized factions (I.E BoS, the University and so on) to the point that they may bar you from there settlements or jack up prices for you. History: Before Jackson the Slayer become a hero to the Swampers and enemy to others, he was at first a simple smith working in his Clan Leaders forge. Working on a sword for his master, the keep came under attack. Taking the freshly made sword, Jackson used it against the invaders to great effect to the point that he almost single-handley saved the Keep. As it turns out, the Clan leader was slain during the battle and Jackson took over said Clan after killing a rival in combat. Growing for a taste leading, and for combat, Jackson called for a Drauns Will. Leading his clan out of the swamp, news of battle spread through out the Swamps as various Clans flocked to Jacksons banner. After ravaging 6 towns, the BoS took notice and sent several squads of power-armored troops to cull the Swampers. Ambushed in what’s now known as ‘Jackson’s alley’ the Brotherhood of Steel destroyed Jacksons army. Jackson himself was killed by a sniper while he was attempting to rally his troops. When the Brotherhood combed the battleground mopping up, they found Jacksons body but they never found his sword. Some people think the sword never existed and it was a rumor, while others believe its still there in Jacksons alley; waiting to be taken up by a new leader of the Swampers. The New Slayer: When using this weapon, you'll likely to never feel pain until you die. This can cause people to act cocky and mis-judge there foe until it's too late. After the battle though expect yourself to be in a world of hurt. |

Bloody Luanne Weapon Type- Fabled Big Gun - 6 Barrel minigun Picture of Luanne Jake Littlefoot was a Native American helicopter gunner in the 82nd Airborne Division during the Operation Anchorage conflict. He was the first on his block to sign up once he came of age in the year 2070. Near immediately shipped off to Anchorage, where he fought in many conflicts to reclaim the state from the Chinese invaders. Due to budget restraints, Jake was one of the few gunners that didn’t use a gatling laser. However, the US military devised a plan to even the score a little. Soon after the Chinese where discovered to be using flame powered weapons, the Americans managed to jury rig the ammo (and then some) onto their own mini-guns. They selected Jake’s vertibird as an early test subject for the weapon. Soon after it was attached to the attack helicopter, the vehicle was sent out to defend against a surprise attack on the northern front by the Chinese. Soon after it arrived, a Chinese shoulder fired missile locked onto his attack helicopter. The first missile struck, but didn’t ground the helicopter. The second missile took out the helicopters rotor, and it spiraled downwards, landing on a small hill. Jake was the only one who survived the landing. Luckily his weapon was still intact. Barely hanging into consciousness, Jake manned the weapon, and started firing on the enemy Chinese troops. He set a forest he landed next to on fire to stop Chinese helicopters from getting a clear shot, and preceded to fight off the enemy soldier. Over a period of thirty minutes, he killed seventy enemy soldiers, and was shot over twelve times. He managed to (somehow) stay conscious until reinforcements arrived, in which he died of blood loss before a medic could reach him. The machine gun was covered in blood, and had “Luanne” written on one of the weapons six barrels. The weapon was transported to a military base in eastern California. It stayed there till the bombs dropped. A caravan eventually picked it up, and was taken across the country to be sold. Eventually, the caravan came under attack, and the mini gun was stolen by raiders. Ever since then, it’s been in a constant cycle of it’s owners dying and it being moved onto another faction. A minigun who’s bullets are set on fire when they exit the barrel. Most likely cause is the fact that you need to oil the guns barrel with a coating that lasts for about 2,000 shots. You can make it from home though, the caravan owner made the stuff in a kitchen when he found out what the ingredients where in the oil. Wrote it down and dropped it in the package, and some how the note has kept with the gun since. Just as bad ass as it sounds. Sad thing is the rate of fire is a bit lower then usual, but then again that just makes the fun last less long, doesn’t it? But careful, the weapon heats up faster. And if the barrel gets hot, it stays hot for a long ass time. Oh, and it’s heavier then bloody William Howard Taft. You need a couple of bulging bastards to lift it, and don’t even think of firing it standing. 20mm’ll knock you on your ass faster then a Tribal warrior on ‘roids. Local Legend - Probably just some hokey pokey tribal shit, but apparently if you use this gun, you’re gonna die. Well, technically not just if you use it. Only if your against the odds. But hey, the legend also says you’ll bleed the enemy of their life line, or something. So, the weapon basically turns you into a martyr. Oh, and seeing as Lucille is written on one of the guns barrels, it shouldn’t be too hard to find. |

"The Silencer" Picture of the Silencer The story goes that the greatest assassin in the Southern Wastes, a man known only as Blackwind, carried this pistol. It was his very favorite gun, and he carried it with him everywhere. This little pistol has supposedly killed more men by Blackwind's hand than any other weapon ever fired by him. Blackwind carried the gun for thirty years until he retired. When he retired, he would use the gun to defend his quaint homestead from raiders and other things, each seeking to either steal the man's riches or allow him to be reclaimed by the desert sands. Eventually, though, people just stopped trying to assault Blackwind's house, and the old man finally retired the pistol to a place of rest above his mantlepiece. A year later, on that very same day, a team of twelve heavily-armed and armored Texas Rangers drew Blackwind out of his home for a final battle. The assassin responded to their challenges by snatching his faithful pistol from his mantlepiece and taking aim. When he pulled the trigger; however, something that had never, in thirty years, happened between that man and that gun: The Silencer jammed. Fate seemed to laugh in Blackwind's face as, time and again, the faltering assassin attempted to shoot the Rangers who had now penetrated his household and hunted for him. Eventually the assassin bull-rushed the squad and clubbed two Rangers to death with the pistol before he was shot over 30 times and killed. The Rangers confiscated the gun and headed for home. That patrol never returned. Three days later a search party found the patrol's final resting place: twelve corpses laid face up in the sand, a neat hole between every one of their eyes. The Silencer rested in the sand at their feet, barrel pointed up at the sky. Stories circulated quickly. Was this the work of Blackwind's spirit? Was it the gun itself, driving the Rangers mad with whispers of death that led them to kill eachother over it? Or was it just insanity? No matter what the story, the Silencer remains out there in the shifting sands, the Rangers who found it sworn to never reveal its location. A pre-war Welrod pistol used by a legendary assassin. It's incredibly quiet and powerful. Stat Effects: -Positive: - This pistol is incredibly accurate for a sidearm, capable of hitting enemies from impressive ranges. - Any shot fired from this weapon has the chance to instant-kill your opponent. Enough said. - When fired from a stealthy position (in shadows, from behind, out of the opponent's line of sight), you remain undetected no matter whether your shot hits, misses or only wounds the target. - Lucky enough gunmen (LUK 8 or higher) has a 25% chance of summoning the spirit of Blackwind the assassin to temporarily aid you in combat. Anyone with LUK below 8 will have a 5% chance of summoning him. -Negative: - The pistol is cursed. You run an extremely high chance of attracting bad mojo (violent random encounters, injuries, etc.) just by carrying it. The probability of this happening only gets higher, and will only be temporarily stopped if you kill someone with it. - If someone is not killed with the gun at least once a month, it will become more and more unreliable. |

Name: First Blood What is it: A compound bow, designed to shoot harder and farther than any yet. Advanced materials allow it to shoot consistently without need of replacements or adjustments. It's silent but arrows are somewhat rare, though you could make your own if your skilled enough. Comes with a quiver full of experimental but very effective explosive arrows. The draw weight is somewhat heavy so weaker waste-landers will have an issue pulling the string and bringing it to draw. (Str 6 required) History:First Blood belonged to a super-soldier. It was said he could destroy an entire camp of enemies silently with only knife and bow. He worked under cover and often alone. He always carried this bow with him and used it effectively. It was kept with him until his passing and was lost after the Great War. A pic of First Blood |

The Devils Own Weapon Type: Epic Small Arms Weapon - Duel Weilded Sawed Off Shotguns http://photos.tradeholding.com/attach/hash200/74184/z1.jpg (The second gun is a exact replica) "There was once a sniper. One day, the sniper was surrounded by the enemy. Two men came near the sniper, and the sniper killed the two of them with the side arm he carried with him. They both carried identical sawed off shotguns. They where both loaded with ammunition for it. The Sniper took the shotgunw and it's ammo, and preceded to use them to help him further leave the area. Some say he killed ten men, others twenty before leaving the area. He preceded to put the weapons into holsters, one on his right calf, and the other on the side of his chest. He disgarded his sniper rifle, and preceded to kill over fifty men using these guns over the course of his life time. Whenever he found himself in a sticky situation, his hands went to shotguns. and before four shots where fired, the problem was usually solved. One day, his enemies attacked him. They brought of five men. He clubbed the fifth to death with one of the shotguns. The sniper died of pneumonia five years later. His shotguns dissapeared, and haven't been found to this day. Duel weilding shotguns have never been so bad ass. Somehow, some way, you can duel weild them accuratly. They're both extremely light weight for a shotgun, and don't bother to explain how you can accuratly use them. Some say it's magic. Others say it's just one incredibly skilled hombre managed to lighten it over the course of several years by replacing it's parts. Chance - There's a chance that you might not be getting an actual pair of really light shotguns. But hey, not like Hesus is going to lie to you about it, right?. |

Patriarch Weapon Type: Legendary Small Gun - High Caliber Hunting Rifle Before the war, there was a wealthy and eccentric gentleman who prized himself as being "the cream of the Southern crop". One day, he decided to have a renowned gunsmith fashion a deadly weapon for him, "A Weapon fit for a Gentleman". Patriarch was the result. It was smooth, elegant, and deadly. In the months following the Great War, the southern gentleman left his fallout shelter, delirious and raving about how he was the "Patriarch of the New South" and how he needed "the Ammunition of a Southern Gentleman". Ever after, the southern man wandered the wastes half-mad, acting as a vigilante and gentleman while at the same time convinced that he was in the Old South before the Civil War. After his death, the Patriarch was lost for a while, only to be found by a raider boss. The weapon served him well but, while raiding a tribal village, the Patriarch suddenly stopped working, leaving the raider at the mercy of his foes. It has been lost ever since. The Patriarch is truly a wonderful weapon. Chambered in .308, it makes up for its scarcity of ammunition with a smoothness of action, range, and power rarely seen in the Southern Wastes. It is elegant and rarely misses its mark, if used by a competent shooter. However, stories tell of how the weapon's past has worn off on it. Those who engage in the gentlemanly virtues of honor, courage, chivalry, and justice will find the weapon to be one of the best they have ever used, but those who are less moral will find the weapon useful, until it seizes up on them and fails to work. |

La pistola del Diablo http://sanloi.com/Colt45Crop.jpg Gather round children to hear the story of La pistola del Diablo, the devil's gun. A long and troubled past hauts this legendary weapon which holds over one hundred years of evil inside its barrel. In the years before the war there was a man named Alfonso Derelde who lived in the sleepy southern town of Backwater in Texas where he served as the lone Sherriff of the town keeping order day after day. However one week before the bombs fell a New comer came to town seeking the job of sherriff. Despite owning the loyalty of the townspeople Alfonso lost his job to the charm and lies of the new comer. In a rage he stormed the sherriff's hut where the man was sleeping in the dead of night holding his prized gun which he had brought over from Spain. Alfonso shot the man and drank deep his blood as well as bathing his revolver in the blood too. Then it struck him, the people of the town, those who he had thought of as friends had deserted him and so they too must die. That night the sleepy town was racked with screams and gun fire as Alfonso killing the townspeople, bathing his gun in their blood. Morning rose and not a single person was left standing, revenge was his. Then the bombs fell. The nuclear fallout drove him mad. His will no was no longer his own as the radiation destroyed his mind, the gun was now in control. Half crazed Alfonso was now no longer human, the gun had drunk the blood of his victims and now thirsted for more blood which can never be satisfied. Over the years whole towns were masicared as La pistola del Diablo as it was now known drove Alfonso who was now a crazed feral ghoul so to meet its lust. After ninty years Alfonso was finally killed by an army of thirty Confederate soldiers in the middle of the dunes atop a pre-war church. However when they came to move the body and gun they found that they couldn't without having the same bloodlust just like Alfonso before them. The gun still lies on top of the church guarded by a whole company of Confederate soldiers who wish to keep the world away from La pistola del Diablo. Effects-The gun gives the weilder un-natural accuracy where will never miss even if under water and it some how increaes the users strenght (+2 strenght) which some people say is the devils own strenght. However the user will be gripped up an almost uncontrolable bloodlust which means the user must kill at least one person every single day or be turned crazy and have no control of themselves any longer. (I.e DEATH!) |

Coletrane's Fist Image Type: Fabled Weapon - Plated Knuckles "Deacon Coletrane, the legendary Texan Pit Fighter wore these gauntlets in his fights. Said he could cave in a man's head with one punch. Sure, talk about how tough pit fights are in the towns, but nothing compares to the fights Coletrane took part in. He fought in the Tribal Pits, out in the desert. Every fight was to the death. He only lost one fight in his life, and it cost him his gauntlets and his head. They restrict wrist movement a little, but it's more than worth it for the extra weight and damage they add to a hit." |
