Like you, I have no idea... I guess it's more about taste. I think I'd choose LCD |

People are saying LCD's are good for the ozone and don't burn so much on the screen but Plasma has a much better picture and they seem to be cheaper.... I'll have to continue in my search :) |

Plasma TVs are really nice and they look smart, plus they are cheaper, its best to shop around the net first, you get cheaper deals than shopping around the shops. In some cases you get free delivery. |

Thanks Mikey I think we're leaning to the Plasma way as they are cheaper and the picture does seem better |

Plasma's are cheaper, but the quality burns out about twice as fast as a LCD TV... We had a 42" LCD and it was fantastic, but then we upgraded to a 60", so we went for a Plasma (since we couldnt get a 60" LCD)... We had the LCD for 2.5 years and it worked perfect the whole time, never had any trouble... we have had the plasma for about a year now and never had any trouble either... So it really all comes down to taste, and which one looks better in your room! BTW, LCD is also a lot lighter than Plasma... |

We've had our plasma for 4 years now and it's still perfect but just looks old so that's why we're getting a new one. Can't wait |
