 14:31 PM January 27th, 2009 - Several weeks after the Super Hive attack A screen flickers to life in the briefing room of the SGC, only for General O'neill to sit smiling at a desk on screen. He wears the blue uniform of a general, his many medals, stars and rank clear to see as he sits smiling "Oh, is that thing on?" He says as he points to the screen. He nods slightly, mumbling what you make out to be "Ah" before he quickly clears his throat and speaks. "Good afternoon, assembled Peons of the SGC." He smiles for a moment before continueing "Now, I am sure you all know how difficult it has been for us since those evil things from the Pegasus galaxy decided to, so kindly, come to our doorstep, however we must continue on. Now, what you probably didnt know, is that we have been kinda in a, what would say, situation at this point in time. As you probably all know, the Icarus project was a complete disaster, some Goa'uld or something attacked it and now the planet seems to have disappeared, though it seems that a nice and kind Dr. Lee was possessed by Nick Rush who was at Icarus, looks like they have communication stones. Anyway, we talked and aside from there being a distinct lack of nachos and hotdogs, it seems they are trapped on an ancient ship no where near Earth." He stopped for a moment, a blank expression on his face before he added "What, not the right time for a joke?" He paused for a moment, shaking his head "Ok maybe not, anyway, we have to try and find them and quickly if at all possible. However, aside from this we have other problems, we got Goa'uld at our doorstep again trying to cause trouble in the galactic playground, and in Pegasus the Yhorla base is only just nearing completion to continue our glorious war against the evil pegasus vampire people." He chuckled for a moment, and then he seemed taken aback a little before he spoke "And I have just been informated, looks like you got a new CO coming down, General Hunt or Hunter or something like that. Was his name Adrian? Oh anyway, have fun boys and girls." With that last statement, the screen shut off, leaving a blank screen hanging in the SGC briefing room. Stargate Origins, is a site based on an Alternate Reality just after the events of the Stargate Atlantis series and the end of Stargate. We incorperate an Earth point of view look at the events of SGU, as well as keeping as close to Canon as possible and letting you and your character run about the galaxy running into your favourite faces from the series. You of course, are not tied down to Tau'ri, infact any faction from Stargate is a playable one, you can raise fleets to fight others or to defend your conquered worlds, or you can commit your time to making a string of alliances with other players to protect yourself, or do you fancy the title of System lord all to yourself?
