| Appearance | Aera Jusona stands at just over five feet in height, and has a slightly skinny frame. She has long brown hair that is usually up in a ponytail and deep blue eyes. Her normal attire consists of black tunic and breeches (mostly for mission and other outings), but casual dress is either a loose-fitting tunic and breeches of any color or a dress, and allows her hair to hang loosely down her back. She has several tattoos since joining the Guild: an intricate knot below her collarbone (symbol of Legacy), a green mountain on her left cheek with the peak 'piercing' her left eye (sign of Earth Order), and a ring of green mountains around her right wrist (mark of Solara). Upon becoming an Elite, Aera received another tattoo, this one on her back which consists of the Guild symbol. Now that she is a Lieutenant, Aera has another ring of green mountains around her wrist, just a bit below the first one. |
| Personality | Aera is one of the most caring people you could ever meet. To other children in Carthan who have experienced a similar situation (growing up with no parents), she feels the most compassion for, and would fight on their behalf to ensure they have a future. But being a warrior of the Earth Order in the Guild, this woman is a fierce opponent who would refuse to back down, even in the face of a hopeless situation. |
| History | For a good portion of her life, up until her teens, Aera had lived a quiet life just on the outskirts of Kalimshere. That one night, everything changed. The brunette had no idea what had happened, but the only thing she can recall is being shoved out the door and told to run toward the city as the front door to her home was broken down. The teenager had just made it to a small hill overlooking her home when screams could be heard echoing from the house across the field before silence settled. Realizing that whoever was behind the attack would no doubt come for her next to finish the job, the young woman ran as fast as she could toward the city, where she collapsed just outside the local inn. Upon coming to the next morning, she sought out the Guild and joined without hesitation, wanting to be able to protect herself, and have a reason for living. It had been a long year after her initiation, and despite her big heart in wanting to protect her guildmates, most of her superiors looked down on her something fierce. Despite those incidences though, she managed to survive the year and become inducted into the Earth Order after demonstrating her skill in front of the captains as well as Commander Kinara. The real trial would begin here though; throughout the years, the Earth Order had changed hands several times, but she still managed to pull through and prove herself enough to be raised to Solara, and in a few more years time, Elite. It was then the new captain of the Earth Order, Bjorn Denloffson, had taken over during the time of the Shiranai War. Together, the two of them managed to free Darya from the grip of the Shiranai forces, and even got their promise for aid. During the War, Aera had proved herself time and again with her battle skills and prowess, cutting down many a Shiranai fighter or mage along with the rest of the Order's fighters. At the end of the War, Bjorn saw fit to elevate her status to his second-in-command...at the age of 24. A decade of peace went by slowly, leaving the now-grown woman ample time to train new recruits and assist other orphans in defending themselves. To her, the young children were her family of sisters and brothers, along with those in the Guild. With the money she earned, Aera bought food, toys and clothes, even setting up a house for them to live in close to the Guild. Those that showed magical promise were handed over to the Council for further training, while the rest decided their own fates upon reaching adulthood. But tragedy had struck again; the plague hit home first, causing the death of several of the magically-inclinded orphans to perish from the sickness. When things couldn't get any worse, the vampires, secluded for many long years in the northern lands of Karash, had emerged and were wreaking havoc. With Admiral Ablair Logain, the two traveled to Eystra to seek a cure, but upon realizing that the vampires hat merged themselves into the monarchy of the realm there, the Earth Order Lieutenant was determined to make a difference there and hopefully find the Eystran king. This is where her story begins... |
| Weapon Abilities | Weapons: As a member of the Earth Order, Aera Jusona has trained in every weapon imaginable, though favors the twin daggers/sais, or the battle staff. Even in her casual wear, she always has at least one blade upon her person, just in case. |
