George was working on mass creating the un"magic"drying water. It was a wonderful creation and he had already heard from Teddy that it was a big hit. He would just never let Kassandra in on that secret. He was wondering where she was. Probaby teaching the little rascals at Hogwild. Hopefully, they wouldn't catch her hair on fire again. He sat to take a break, and then he heard the ruckus down stairs. It sounded like a stray cat had broken in and was wreaking havoc trying to get back out. "OY! Shoo!" George shouted as he headed down the stair. What he found shocked him more than a stray cat. "Maloura! What are you doing here?" |

Maloura winced. "Uncle George? I thought you were supposed to be in Diagon Alley today." Oh yeah, she was sunk. "I mean, hi." She smiled weakly, waving at him, wondering what her chances of getting out of here without him being able to catch her were. |

"Stop right there. I know what you are thinking. But you might as well forget it. You've been had. Come on upstairs with me. We are the only ones here. Besides there's some stuff I would like for you to try out." George knew how she felt. It made him long for his long gone days of school boy mischeif. |

Maloura gave him a nervous look, as she did with her brothers when they said the same thing. "Okay." She followed him up the stairs, looking at all this testing equipment. It was stuffy and smelly, something Frebby enjoyed most, though anyone who had been in his bedroom realized that this was pleasant, in comparison. "So whatcha working on today?" |

Sensing the hesitation in her voice, George said, "Well, before the freight you gave your old uncle, I was making my un"magic"dry water. I am not sure if Teddy and your brothers told you of their use of it on Severn. It's really
cool stuff, but we don't want to test that out." He walked over to his experimental candy section. Pointing to the pink covered chocolate he said, "Pick one up." As she did so it sparkled and flashed. It's purpose was to turn into a princess' tiara, unfortunately, all it accomplished thus far was sending warming sensations through the person's body. Thus making them feel all warm and fuzzy inside. "Just, don't eat it. Ron tried it the other day, and well." He turned his head to the side, hiding the laughter, "He still can't get the pink colored eyes to go away. Good thing he's in London right now. Hermione was rolling when she saw it." |

Maloura got a stubborn look on her face. "You shouldn't encourage them Uncle George." She said firmly. Maloura picked up the candy and turned it over in her hands a few times. "A tiara? Good for Halloween...if it could work. "Does he really have pink eyes?" |

"My dear they don't need encouragement. They need guidance, and besides. You are one to talk. Didn't you sneak over here in hopes that I was not going to be here?" George thought that was rather hipocritical, but he didn't say that. "Yes, he does have rather charming pink eyes. I told him just this morning it looked lovely with his tie." |

Maloura laughed, loving her uncle's antics. When he did it, it wasn't as mean as when Frebby and Rhyan did. "Doesn't that kind of clash with his hair? "And Frebby was the one who told me how to get here, accidentally. He said there were mushrooms growing on the path and I kept following and then I ended up in Hogsmeade somehow so I came to get something from the store quick." She gave him the charming smile that had NEVER failed working on her father. |

"Love you are going to have to try harder than that." He said with a chuckle. "You forget who you are talking to. The Master of Mischeif." However, George had to give her credit. She did know how to wiggle out of it. "If that were the case when you saw me you wouldn't have said, "I thought you were in London." That was your tale-tale give away." He then turned to all the other colored items he had on the shelf. "What did you come here for anyway?" In reference to Ron's eyes, "Yes, the irises are currently pink. Although, you may actually like having pink eyes, but I wouldn't reccomend it." |

Maloura thought about it for a moment, then turned hers to match her Uncle Ron's. "I guess it doesn't bother me as much since I can just change them back." She said. "Poor Uncle Ron." She wandered around through the experiments interested. "I just needed to pick up something that would help me with a little project I'm working on with Teddy." The girl shrugged, not wanting to go into the details. |

"Lori," George said in a warning voice, "there are some things that you just shouldn't bother." He had seen some of Teddy's fits as he was growing up. You aren't someone's uncle and not know what they are capable of. "I am not going to tell you what not to do, because I know you are stubborn, just like your brothers. However, I am going to warn you. There will be serious reprocutions from your actions." He hoped that she would understand, and reguardless of her curiousity in the matter she would back off. Probably not, but at least she would be warned in the process. |

Maloura wasn't usually an angry person. There was enough hate in the world for her to be one more. But her uncle's words were enough to bring her mother's anger out of her in a flash. "Are you telling me it's okay the way they treat Victoire? The way he insults her in front of the whole school like that, just because it's his nature? Because if it is, I think it's time YOU had a talk with Grandma about what family really means. I'm not going to let my family be destroyed, just because of some boy's ego." |

"You are the one that is playing tricks on him." Then George got to thinking and said, "Who said anything about Victoire?" He got this really puzzled look. His brain was rattling. "What did you do?" |

Maloura gave him a strange look. "I made a deal with him. He has to be nicer to Victoire as long as I don't mope around the castle, which I don't think I do but it had to be fair." |

"Yes, but what does this have to do with the trick that you are playing on him?" George was rather inquisitive about this situation. Normally, if it weren't Teddy versus Maloura he would be all in on giving her anything that she wanted from the store houses. However, she was the one that made this a "family affair". "By the way that was a very good deal to make with him. I am very proud of you. He should be nicer to Victoire, but there are some things you need to realize about men. If they really like someone, they can be the utmost foul to them, even without meaning it." He didn't know if she would understand, because she was after all young and a girl, but he would hope that she would see something in that. |
