That could be caused by many things. First, you should remove all mods and pk3s you have in your base folder. That is the most common cause of all problems. Delete any ones that you just recently got, especially.

If that doesn't work, make sure you have the latest version of DirectX, or at least the one that comes with the game. Then, you need to be sure that your video card has the most updated drivers, which means you might need to find the company website and look around. If you can at least get to the ingame menu, try reducing certain video options, too.

It's definatly a graphics issue. There are a couple of ways to proceed initially.

1st, find out what kind of graphics card you have then go to their website and download the latest drivers.

2nd, check your in-game video settings. They may be set too high for the game itself to handle so try reducing them to the minimum settings. If this still doesn't help then....

3rd, re-install the game.

*edit* T as usual was quicker on the draw than I... :P

**NOTE** It's always a good practice to back up your base folder before making any changes or deleting any pk3's that you have. Then once you have the game working, any that you deleted try putting them back in one at a time to try and find the one that may have been causing the problem. That way you only get rid of the problem one and not the ones you like to use.
