Name of the Kingdom: Babylonia Empire Two Sub-forums names: Babylon Akkadia, The Risen Empire. Places to visit-Babylon: The great city of Babylon holds many sites to see, is trade is vast and its markets hold abundance in variety for shoppers. Their land is well preserved from about 3,000 BC so the architecture is breath taking for people to visit and their culture is preserved in religion and dress. Places to Visit-Akkadia: The city’s ancient look has been re-made and preserved; their markets offer a verity or many things that would be found in every market in any city. However it is not the only market within Akkadia. What many know as “the black market” is one of the main attractions to this great city. Amulets, artifacts, potions, stolen goods, rare and priceless artifacts and much more, the city also home to some of the most popular brothels. Species of the Kingdom: Babylonia is mostly human, many are magic users, the priest above all else. There is a people who goes into the category of “untermench" who goes under the name of beastmen. These creatures are mutated by the random magic of Babylon and may have everything from a tail or a beak, and are looked down on by the humans. Akkadia although part of Babylonia was a wider verity living within its lands, many humans, witches, mages, warlocks, orcs, dark elves, vampires, were wolfs, pretty much anyone who walks the wrong side of the line is welcome within its boarders no matter what race. One does not have to be of the wrong sort to come here, but come at your own risk, many people with wishes come to see Asher and all with the goal have safe passage. If that safe passage is violated, Asher compensate those wronged and does what he can to make sure it does not happen again. Landscape & Wildlife: It is a desert, there are some oasis. Animal life is typical of deserts, the oasis have exotic birds. The cities have a wader range of animals owned by people and for seal in markets. Ruler of the Kingdom: The Ruler of the Babylonian Empire is Xeric the IIII. How ever even though Akkadia is under his rule, the thieves that live in the land and have taken over the city of Akkadia are lead by Asher Seth. Storyline: In the early years of late 3000 B.C.E Akkadia stood as the ruling land over its surroundings, how ever after a tragic battle it fell to Babylon and became part of the Babylonian empire. In the year of 3000 B.C.E Babylon stood as the strongest nation in the Middle East, it is allies with the great nation of Egypt. Many rules have come and gone and the world has changed around it, but Babylon had stood its ground against the test of time. Its lands have become rich and prosperous and its army has grown, its rules arrogance grew with each generation as well. Within the arrogance of the Babylonian rules over the next century and a half, they soon took very little notice of the Akkadian lands, which by now should have fallen into ruin. Slowly but assuredly The Risen Army formed and grew and it forever changed the course of Babylonia’s world. Although Akkadia’s lands are still a province, the capital city Akkdai which lies in the heart of the land is no longer in their power. The power of the city belongs to Ahser Seth and he does his best to hold peace with the land of Babylon, but when your men raid the land and take in its out laws. Sometimes powers inevitably clash. The city of Akkadia for the most part is with out laws; however Asher does demand a code of conduct. Asher sees anyone who chooses to seek a haven in his city a guest and all guest must act in a some what pleasing manor to those around them. The people of Akkadia are quite happy with the workings of their old capital city, there is not one who does not know the name of Asher Seth and most seek him with wish. The city is not a city to be feared by the people of Akkdai, they have faith in the man who claimed it as his own.Even the commoners of Babylonia have taken a liking to Asher, being the leader of the Risen Army has taken him far and wide. And in all lands his reputation precedes him, along with the knowledge of his power. But within the higher circles of Babylonia culture and political circle, the name of The Risen Army is whispered about like a plug that has been loosed on their lands. The good he does for the commoners will never be noticed by the higher ups he steels from. Over the course of several thousand years, the Babylon rules have tried to take the city of Akkdai back from The Risen Army. Each and every time they have failed. Within the 20 years The Risen army was establishing its self and forming. Asher Seth set about the city its self, using not only the work of his friends, men and new found allies, but the magic of others her knew and befriended. He has reinforced the city and made it practically impenetrable. Even though not all who are in the city are part of his army, if attacked, most will fight to defend it. Babylon has learned to live with this evil in its mist, but the higher archly still wish to over throw the power and take it under their control one day for good. |

Exactly when is it taking place. Cause you speak of its history during 3000 BC. I just hope you know the time is now 1000 AD. Only the mini-rp's can have different time lines as they are not relevant to the rpg itself. |

Yes, I know. I spoke of the part of history that was relevent to the time that one land fell to the other to set the stage and then said that even though time has moved around them but that the culture stands as the same. |

Cara, with all respect. You haven't been active the last few months and we need at least five 'active' members, now can you guarantee that you'll be active again once this kingdom is completed? And not just in this kingdom but in the rpg itself? We can understand that you are busy in your life, but we want to prevent that a kingdom dies out like last time. Even with the new kingdom Avonensce it hasn't been very active yet, which is a worry for us for having new kingdoms at all. As people who said they were interested haven't all posted there yet, only a few. We need to be certain that all who are interested will post there so we are sure the kingdom will be alive. We want to be sure these members are genuinely committed, rather than members who vote for their friends' ideas. It's nice to do so, but if they do so and the kingdom will die out soon if no one is actually committed their ambition to create this kingdom will be in vain. |

Well sorry that doesn't fill me with great confidence. Members should be able to RP here despite who is online. We of course like members to interact but it is not critical. So far she has about 37 posts, so sorry that's not very promising. Like I said I understand people have busy lives, but ultimately it won't be fair to you, Lady G, to end up with an empty kingdom that no one visits. We're already been down this road and we're not going down that road again. We just want to prevent that this happens again. |

Well basically I have been buzy making up new ideas for my fairy character which i tried making in a manner so that it actually could spend time in both Babylon and Avo without having to make up a "great journey" story each frigging time" also i have been posting with Cara and the bunch in the vampire area for some time now. Also the fact that you are afraid that she's only going to be active at one kingdom should not be a problem. |

I understand that Ced and I am greatful for your wanting to look out for me, i know Cara's post count is not promissing. But she is no longer busy with RPGing else where were she had been preveusly commited to a place and people. All of our RPGing was put opn hold this week with Dan going out of town since he is the one heading our little story line down there at this time. Cara I believe is in the prosses of writting out Denna's fait and I know that she has started on the profile for her fairy because I helped her find pic's for it. Kleko and Lewy are both at the post count for knew char's and are working on making knew char's to be submitted to bring into not only the land I wish to have but will also work with Eb's place and the other lands that are pre-egsisting on the boards. |

No prob's, she is just in bed right now. She will be on in a few hours I believe to get back to you her self. The reason Niz is not on voting is because she has been in active somuch with her school, but she gets out of school I think at the end of this year and I know she is planning on coming back. Her thinks her little imp would have fun reacking havoc within my land if I get it and she knows I would let her get away with almsot anything. So even though it will take her logner then she wants it to, she is already making plans for coming back. |

Now that you should have thought of before making a dwarven kingdom? Because, with all due respect, I see no dwarfs. No offence intended, it's just that I've tried to keep it alive as best I can but I had to use my own characters and NPCs and that really made me stuck... So maybe I have been using certain NPCs a bit too much both there and other places to be active at all So at least I think it's very good you don't want that to happen again, and I promise we'll keep this one tidy

Well on that note, Lewy, you want us to remove the Dwarven area? The other areas also have not much much going on, but at least we know that they'll be active later. But areas such as the Dwarven area do not apply to the same rules as the kingdoms. Kingdoms are additions. The best way to create activity is by creating scenarios or moving your own character to other areas instead of staying in the same spot all the time. |

Apartheid for everyone
Ahem......... Well, yes, I think the dwarven kingdom has played it's role here... And frankly I don't see how to revive it. It is perhaps better that the dwarves are a travelling people who rather live where it suits them, around the world. So that if you need a dwarf it will be there, but I don't think they really need a kingdom. At least they don't need an inactive kingdom! So of course you could say they live in the red ridges, you could keep one of their cities, or the kingdom as a whole, or you could delete it all. These are my opinions, now I leave the choice to you
