Although at the moment the only decent thing on is Robin Hood, because Casualty has gone way downhill since all the good characters have gone, Doctor Who's not on again until Christmas, I keep forgetting to tape the Dead Zone and I've no idea if Sea of Souls will ever be back on, so...my DVD collection is rapidly on the increase again, lol

Her character Rose left the show after being stranded on a parallel earth with no way of getting back. She could never see the doctor again, never speak to him, she had to restart her whole life on a brand new planet that is almost identical to her old. Here's a vid of how her character left the show. It was so sad, I was almost crying! Basically the bit you see at the beginning, they're sucking all the daleks into the void, which is basically nothing...anything that falls in there ceases to exist any more. I love the show and she was the best character. I was devastated when she left, and am so thrilled now that she's coming back! But yeah, Billie went on to do other stuff...she didn't wanna be typecast as Rose Tyler for the rest of her career, and she was finding it so much harder everyday to let go of the show. She had to leave then before it became too difficult for her to say goodbye.
