Well, I've been rambling through the Invictus covenant book, twiddling my thumbs and having a think and I'd love to see a PC from one of these two factions: a twisted, shadowy investigator, spy and consultant, to deliver crucial support against magical foes in times of conflict (Die Nachteulen or even a less-external-covenant-hating-more-external-supernatural-threat-focused Invictus occult investigation group variant of it) and a PC to join the Angels that the Toreador Invictus currently have major control over (Cherubims). I just think that the Adelaide game could really use some of that. Yes, Adelaide doesn't have a large number of characters but I still think that a few friendly factional elements could add a very canonical, but unique, twist on the usual Invictus concepts. A Spina Harpy would also be really cool. In fact, any concept that would lend itself well to a harpy - with social wit, back-biting rumors, outright gossip, the spread of the prince's (or prisci's) word, praising of certain folk's accomplishments (when their hands are greased with blood, boons, money, or assistance) encouragement of boon trading, and all the rest that should come with being a good harpy. I would certainly encourage this. |

We always needed a good socialite harpy to replace the biting wit and arched-eyebrow-negativism of the Doctor....

I'd like us to see some of the Mekhet Shadow cults, for example the Cult of Set. The got some cool Cruac rituals too. |

I'd like to see the Paranormal Phenomena Investigation Cadres. We have tons of occult researchers but for folks who want to tackle it at a slightly different angle, a detective option would be cool. |

Wow, there's 21 characters! Shame 9 of them are three players, one is Wog, who can't rock up, and one is Reece's back up who hasn't entered play yet. Needs to shanghai some others.... |

ST Advice from Shadownessence about plotting: "Ask them stuff about their characters. Make them help you understand why they think their characters are so cool, and make them help you see that they are cool! Once you see all that cool stuff, and really understand the whys and whatfores of the characters, make cool stories by introducing all the stuff your players have pointed out to you on their character sheets. Then introduce more stuff like it, that you think your players will enjoy!" |
