Nora walked into the hospital and saw Jack right away. She ran up to him. "Hey, Jack. I need a favor." |

Jack turned when he saw Nora come up to him. "Hey." He looked around. "Anything to do with Peter?" |

"No no," Nora shook her head. She bit her lip. "I need you to run me for Huntington's." |

"Yeah," Jack now noticed the friend behind her. Support. He couldn't believe Nora was actually doing this. Her dad told him all the time that he wished he knew if she had it. "Your friend has to wait out here though." |

Nora swallowed and nodded. She didn't wanna go in there alone, but privacy laws. Peyton wasn't blood. She walked back over to her. "You have to wait out here...sorry." |

"Okay." She nodded. Without saying anymore to her, Peyton pulled Nora into a hug. She didn't know what else she could do. She gave her a tight squeeze before letting go. |

Nora leaned into the hug, not wanting to let go. She sighed heavily and pulled away finally. She walked with Jack into the room and sat down. She took off her jacket and rolled up her sleeve. "How long will it take to find out?" |

Jack put his hand on her shoulder and gave it a squeeze. "Because of our magic, it'll take fifteen minutes instead of a couple hours." |

"Okay, let's...do this," Nora offered him her arm. She winced as the needle stuck in and drew her blood. And then it was all over. It was out of her hands now. |

"You're very brave...to do this," Jack said as he inserted the vial of blood into the machine. |

"I don't feel brave." Nora sighed, running a shaky hand through her hair. She started playing with the band aid Jack put over her wrist, even though it stung. "Are the treatment options any better? Than 20 years ago?" |

"You are. If I was in your shoes, I honestly don't know if I'd be here," Jack sighed. He saw how nervous she was. "Yes...somewhat... but I wouldn't worry about that right now." |

"What does 'somewhat' mean?" Nora demanded, ignoring the rest of his statement. She was rolling her thumb back and forth on the band-aid. Her nails dug into her skin and the wound broke open again. She had ruined the healing the cream on the band-aid had implemented. |

Jack looked at the test and back at her. "Nora," he walked over to her and crouched down to meet her eyes. "You don't have Huntington's." |

Nora stared up at Jack, her heart still. It took her a minute to even realize what he said. The shock and relief washed over her. She jumped up and threw her arms around him. |
