Just a quick note to say hello and ask a couple of questions...

I am here as a result of being asked to build some terrain/ buildings etc for my 7 y/o. I was into 40k about 20 odd years ago so it is not totally unfamiliar to me, but it was very much pre- internet as we now know it. Primarily he is more interested in having the scenery etc to use with his toy soldiers etc but he did see a couple of my old "lead" figures when we moved house and was fascinated by them... so i gave him them.

Anyway, long story short,

I saw that resin seems to be very commonplace for keeping costs down, I wondered where you guys source it from?

where do you source the "master" oil barrels to use for casting?

Are/Is model railway 00 gauge stuff, i.e. bridges any good scale wise for gaming?

Finally, for now at least, has anyone had any experience of using a photobucket workaround? it is incredibly frustrating (worse for you guys I imagine) to try to look at your tutorials etc only to see all the images held to ransom! A real shame indeed.

Cheers in advance,

I am UK based BTW.
