Hi,
as i always want to win without cheating there is a question concerning the mawcannon of the blightdrone. It has two profiles but nowhere in the rules is stated that you have to choose between those profiles before shooting unlike other weapons with two profiles. Of course those bugs are pointheavy enough to have to use 3 shootingattacks everey turn (with one being not always in use for its kind of a flamer) but i want to make sure.

You'll only ever get to use one of the profiles per shooting phase, plus the autocannon if you moved at combat speed (as a snap shot). While it's not noted that you can't use both in the same phase, there isn't a single weapon in the game that lets you fire the multiple modes in the same phase.

It's one of those things that if someone tried with me, i'd be packing up my case faster than they could finish the sentence.

He i never cheated. I asked sevral people and most said if there is no faq/new publication stating that you have to choose it will be counted as two different weapons.
I asked because even with the new book there was no such thing.
