Hi, new user here :)
Just wondering if there are plans to update the Genestealer Cult list (if you feel it needs to) and if someone is working on a 30Kish Mechanicum army list...

I've made some attempts with friends to adapt the 30k mechanicum army list into a workable mini-dex for kill teams but currently they're in a wonky position due to balance issues. The big issues in my games comes with Thallax, these things are absolutely BEASTLY in a tabletop setting, nonetheless a killteam setting. T5 with 3 wounds, 4+ and 6+fnp. They're pretty broken, even if they're a special model purely because most things struggle to kill them. So tech thralls make good conscript/cultist squad based unit. But otherwise custom rules for Skitari are going to have to be made to fill in the core. On top of that there has to be an easy medium between the archmagos's and the elite style tech priest auxilia that we just haven't made.

Currently I run the army that I typically play as a 30k mechanicus list as a chaos army. With the iron warriors legion rules you can take a warpsmith as your leader, and I go with cultists and obliterators for that machinery feel.

But yes... official mechanicus lists would be greatly appreciated. But it's gonna take some work and thought not unlike the arbite codex (which I am a giant fan of, looking into converting up a killteam for them very soon) so hopefully we'll see it soon.

I've been working on an AdMech list for our campaign, which can be found here. Comments and critique is very welcome, but keep in mind that it isn't finished yet, and it might require the availability of the various HH books. It'll probably be finished this month, although playtesting will be a few months in the future.

Cheers :)
