Hey First question: Can a walker, that does not have a leadership value, redirect its charge? or does it auto fail? And dark eldar drugs, on a roll on a '1' you can roll 3d6 when running, but with these rules, you always run 6". So is a roll of a '1' just useless so far? Thanks |

First question: This does not seem to be covered in the rules at all, and would probably need a sentence to clarify it. The only other example of a vehicle rolling for leadership I can think of is the Psychic Pilots of the GK, who are treated as having Ld 10. So I would probably treat them as Ld 10 until further notice is given. ![]() On the matter of combat drugs, there is no official ruling here either. There are other cases which such rulings instead gives extra run move, like +3". So I would go along with that

Shouldn't the walker have Ld of their race? I think an ork kills kan with Ld 10 is daft...all other orks have ld7 in the list, so why not have the ld as the average of the race? |

I merely pointed out an earlier rule. The normal Grey Knight don't have Ld 10 either, but apparently all their pilots do. ![]() The increase in leadership could derive from the feeling of safety which comes with being encased in metal. If you want to use the Ld of the actual model described to drive the walker, then all Ork players can have fun with their Ld5 Killa Kans.

It makes sense that a walker wouldn't be able to redirect its charge, I.E: being bulkier and not as nimble as dismounted infantry. |

Just to chime in with the DE question. As the 40k rule for Hypex is Run = 3D6" and it is essentially useless for HoR, I would say there should be some benefit over and above the default 6" run move. Specifically, the HoR special rule rewrite for Bounding Leap comes to mind. 6 + D6" seems like fair balance, especially since most of the DE models also have fleet. I don't think you would be out of place to make Hypex confer the HoR Bounding Leap rule, but if you feel it is too strong, you can always scale it back. Just my two cents. PS. Nasnas, did you play wow? Edited by aubullion, 18 Sep 2014, 07:19 AM.

I'm going off topic from Dark Eldar and their combat drugs, but does anyone think Ork Stormboyz Rokkit Packs should also work differently? They get a 2d6" run in the shooting phase if they pass a dangerous terrain roll. |
