Custom Army/Team; Order of the S'Vacian; Seeing what thoughts are on this homebrew mini-'dex

In a thing I write, there is an elite sub-force of the protagonist side called the Order of the S'Vacian. Being bored at one point, I decided to go ahead and write up an army list for them. A few disclaimers;

1. I have not playtested any of this, points values are pulled from similar entries/closest thing to what can be found in the loyalist and chaos space marine codexes, or weighing what I felt worked for their cost. I aimed to have things be overcosted rather than undercosted to begin with, to make it more easily accepted.
2. There is no special armoury, as I felt that the unit entries had everything needed in them already.
3. I am aware that there is a critical lack of variety of units. This is due to the fact that this force is supposed to be a priority target elimination group/a hole-punch into enemy lines, and are generally equipped to do this as individuals.
4. This force doesn't belong to the 40k universe. However, I could fart around with it to make it a recently rediscovered branch of Mechanicus forces or something like that, should that make it more acceptable.
5. Everything is written for 6th ed. Me and my one (and only!) opponent decided that $100 for a new ruleset wasn't a wise investment as 6th was working fine for us. I mainly suspect that this will cause a hiccup with the psychic phase, but nothing else.

So, that's that. I look forward to hearing what you all think of my whack at writing up a mini-'dex!

Like the theme, but it seems a bit overpowered (in theory). For 248 pts I'd get 7 dudes belching out:

- four/six S4 AP5, two of them twin linked
- three S5 AP4 (or a single S5 AP4 flamer)
- two rending S6 AP4

Thats up to 11 shots hitting on 3+, wounding most stuff on 4+ or better and negating most armor below MEQ. Should, in average, inflict about 3-4 unsaved wounds every turn, quite nasty. Especially if you factor in that all of your guys come with 3+/5++/6+++ saves

That being said, I really like elite lists in KT. I might just ask some people if they would be ok with me fielding your army for testing ;)

//edit: typo's galore...

If you're able to test it out, I'd be really interested in hearing how it goes!

As to their power level, they're meant to bring down tough mechanical targets (think necrons with FNP but no reanimation protocols), so having conventional bullets with an approximate power to a boltgun. Still, this army is lacking in a lot of things. This includes regular access to power weapons, fast units (I do have bikes for them, but left those out/forgot while I was writing the list up), and mass hordes of enemies. That, and any losses they take will be major setbacks to the force (a 3+ save is still just that, FNP or no). They also don't have a lot of access to AP3 or higher, though I admit the instances they do have them in are quite strong.

I'll see if I can write up the main bulk of their force (ie non-S'Vacian chasis droids) too, perhaps combine them a la Adeptus Militarum/Militarum Tempestus dex, would that be of interest?

I don't know much about Militarum Tempestus, although another KT player from our shop is playing them. Our next match is scheduled for Wednesday, maybe we can fit in a proxy match then

Like I said previously, really like the theme your going for. And since you can't really have too many KT lists... :D
