hey guys, ive been slowly getting back into warhammer (both 40k and fantasy) for the last month or two, though ive yet to play a game since restarting, as im still catching up on the rules

now ive been reading through the warriors of chaos book, and noticed in the character entries it says "May take magic items worth up to 100 points" and other permutations of that phrase depending on the unit/option in question. so far as i know its always been phrased that way, and ive always taken it as meaning, as well as everyone ive gamed against, that that means you have 100pts total to spend on various magic items... but ive just realised the phrasing more implies that you can buy any number of magic items, worth up to 100pts each.

Really i just need some clarification on whats actually meant here, because its making me wonder if ive been wrong all these years

thanks
