Now I know this isn't GW, but the models have me excited.

Link to Dakka

All the models are in scale to each other and have a design aesthetic that is refreshing and different to the norm. I for one am in love with the Post human republic.

What does everyone think? Could this be the replacement for epic that everyone has been looking for?

Prince of Sambuca - black lightning!
Warmaster in space eh? (10mm). Not sure on the NeptUne medium dropship, a ship with legs??? ;) looks weird with the under slung walkers.

I'd be interested in seeing more of this range.

10 mm is an odd scale I'll admit, but the models really appeal to me for some reason.

Post-Human republic and the United Colonies of mankind both have nice stuff, not sure about the rest. Worth keeping an eye on. You going to keep us up to speed Sheep?

I'm far from an expert on the game, but I'll do my best :)

Some of it is really bold and unique. I love the 'Shaltari Tribes' stuff. Actually, I really love that. And even if 10mm is a strange scale, I like it. I've always loved smaller scale stuff as it makes boring infantry easier to paint, while giving you lot's of cool things that don't have annoying bits like faces and eyes to paint. I don't feel any angst when I paint small scale vehicles. I want to kill myself every time I paint the eyes on a 28mm model.

Some of it is boring as sticks though. To me anyway. I don't like the aesthetic of 'The Scourge'. And the post human stuff looks too similar to Infinity's ALEPH (which also contain troops called 'post Humans'...)

Ricky, I agree about the aesthetics of the scourge, its like they took all the bad bits of the robots from the matrix and combined them with the hover board from back to the future.
Strangely the only models of the scourge I like are the walkers, probably because they haven't deviated from the matrix scary robot spider vibe.

Some of the infantry:

Going off the name, the shaltari seem to have a native american indian vibe/fluff behind them.

Scourge infantry, apparently these are slaves, and thee will be a truly alien infantry stand too.

PHR infantry. Look almost androidy to me.

I like all three of those infantry bases, the post humans being best - loads of possibilities for cool colour schemes there.

Really interested in these. Reminds me of Tiberium sun etc games. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the models and Prices and flicking through the rules. Keep us posted Sheep.

Some of the flying vehicles, with a little work could be made passable for BFG.

I'm thinking the Archangel Interceptor as a Rogue Traders Cruiser, as an example.

10mm is a really nice scale to work with, it kinda of combines the best bits of 28mm and 6mm. The models are easy to paint and is quite a popular market.
These are quite nice and I really like the 15mm range by Khurasa nminiatures.

Bearing in mind these two are 15mm they are seriously impressive stuff.

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on Dropship Commander though as at that scale it's usually a cheap genre of gaming to get into.

They looked pretty swish at Salute, probably going to be quite popular! Some of the larger ships looked quite entertaining to paint.
