Need some help; I know there are some budding artists here...

For the up and coming Gamesday board I'm going to put together another video that we can use to post around to get us some publicity but I need some help.

While I'm no Spielburg by any stretch of the imagination I'll be putting together a short video detailing the attack on Camp Talvenus to set the scene. Now while I can jerry rig the mechanics of the of the video itself I need some help with contributions of artwork and the arcane (and quite frightening to man of my age) art of photo-shopping.

This isn't a case of saying I'm only after a professional standard of work because that isn't the case. What I'm looking for is people that would like to contribute to the day in even the smallest of ways.

The plan at the moment is that Dave will take some shots of the camp and you guys just go crazy with them. You can add targeting information, green screen them, what ever takes your fancy and I'll work them into the video and chuck your name in the credits at the end to boot! It can be as simple or as complicates as you want but just make sure it's Imperial Guard or Traitor Guard themed.

Alternatively if you feel the need to knock together some imperial or chaos looking screens, buttons, markers, posters, anything that is your own work and is themed to the attack then I will find a way of working it into the video.

This isn't a competition, there is no bar for people to reach for, I just want as many contributions as possible to show what we are capable of as a forum.

So if it is related to the Camp Talvenus board and is your own work please feel free to show us your talents. What I'm after is an opportunity to show just how talented you guys really are at the end of the day.

Dave will get as many pictures up as possible that you can play around with to your hearts content but in the meantime feel free to contribute with any artwork or photos that are of your own creation.

One thing to remember is that the war stretches right up until the battle itself so if you wanted to take pictures of your own guard or traitors skulking about in the woods or patrolling a mountain top or ruined city then go for it. Be as artistic or simple as you want, the key is to create or set a scene relevant to the Gamesday event.

Just be aware there is an ice age coming in about 24,000 years Dave, can you really afford to wait that long?

I think he better get his skates on then mate! :D

Here's a link to the original that I put together as a test piece for the last board.

The new one will be more epic with a proper semi-professional sounding voice over and as I've had a lot more experience since doing this it should look the business with everyone's help. :)
